Susanna Reid was not happy about the prices of Oasis tickets and she opened up about her biggest concern on live TV.
After a well-deserved break from her hosting duties, Susanna Reid reprised her seat on Good Morning Britain, reuniting with co-star Ed Balls on Monday. Conversation soon turned to the Oasis reunion tour, which was announced last week.
But like many fans of brothers Liam Gallagher and Noel Gallagher, who issued their complaints throughout their chaotic weekend, Susanna had a complaint about the ticket prices.
Admirers of the Britpop stars notably criticised the dynamic pricing of tickets, where prices rise in line with demand, which set some remaining spots at more than £350.

During a chat with her co-presenter Ed, Kevin Maguire and Andrew Pierce, Susanna notably admitted that she had tried to get her own ticket for the reunion tour, signing up for the daunting pre-sale in the hopes of receiving her access code, but she eventually chose to give up when getting wind of the hassles other fans were experiencing.
After referring to comments made by MP Zarah Sultana, who suggested that Ticketmaster should be “nationalised” over on X, Susanna said: “If Oasis had said, ‘we’re going to have four set prices’, I think I would have expected that from Oasis, actually.
“I’m not talking about the re-sale, I’m just talking about the main sellers, just 4 levels and then you don’t get panicky the longer you’re in the queue about how much you’re paying.”
Moments later, she then criticised the dynamic pricing of Oasis tickets as she spoke to showbiz expert Richard Arnold. Susanna reacted to a 22-year-old fan queuing for eight and a half hours, only to be able to buy a standing ticket for the price of £350.
“That’s all that was left because of dynamic pricing”, Susanna summarised. “He can’t pay £700 for two tickets.” And when another fan said that Oasis should “hang their heads in shame”, she appeared to agree. “It’s too much, isn’t it?”, she asked Richard. “They’re not airlines, they’re Oasis.”
Following Saturday’s (August 31) ticket sale, Oasis have confirmed that their 2025 UK and Ireland reunion tour is officially sold out, after Liam and Noel confirmed more gigs had been added to their original list of 14 dates.
Oasis have promised “wall to wall classics” as they mark the 30th anniversary of their second album (What’s the Story) Morning Glory?. Original Oasis guitarist Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs is rumoured to be joining Liam and Noel, while we revealed Gem Archer is also expected to join the reunion.
The pre sale on Friday evening got off to a controversial site with fans waiting hours for the pre-sale codes, then battling touts for tickets who have attempted to resell the spots for as much as £10,000.
Taking to X, the band said: “Oasis Live ‘25 UK and Ireland tickets have now SOLD OUT. Please be aware of counterfeit and void tickets appearing on the secondary market. Tickets can ONLY be resold, at face value, via @TicketmasterUK and @Twickets.”
A PR expert has warned that the brothers could clash again as the tour unfolds but not about antics on stage but about the finances, as the pounds begin to pour in from the long-awaited comeback. Speaking to The Sun, celebrity PR specialist Kayley Cornelius said that licencing rights could open up old wounds.

Kayley said: “With many brands viewing the reunion as a prime marketing opportunity for their upcoming product launches, any company looking to feature Noel’s music in advertisements or products will need to pay a premium – a price that has undoubtedly surged due to the reunion’s excitement.
“The rights to one of Oasis’s top tracks could easily command several million per usage. Since ticket sales are notoriously not the biggest cash generators for artists in the music industry, Noel is likely to profit most from this reunion through song rights and licensing deals.”
