Turki Alalshikh has already laid out two-fight plan after Oleksandr Usyk beats Tyson Fury in rematch

Oleksandr Usyk defeated the Gypsy King once again in their second fight this year.

Saudi Arabian boxing kingpin Turki Alalshikh has outlined the two fights he would like to see next held in his country after Oleksandr Usyk defeated Tyson Fury for the second time.

Usyk recommenced hostilities in the ring with Fury in a rematch of their first fight in May, with both heavyweight bouts taking place in Riyadh.

And Usyk won by a unanimous decision after all three judges scored the fight 116-112 in the Ukrainian’s favour.

It follows the victory for Usyk earlier this year which was a split judges’ decision, with two scoring the bout 115-112 and 114-113 in the Ukrainian’s favour, while another scored the fight 114-113 to Fury.

The defeat was the second of Fury’s professional boxing career – both of which have come at the hands of Usyk, who has retained the WBA (Super), WBC, WBO, IBO, and The Ring heavyweight boxing titles.

The Gypsy King’s record now stands at a still very impressive 34 wins from 37 fights, including a draw, while Usyk remains undefeated in his 23 fight career.

Fury disagreed with the fight’s outcome, as he said: “The judges gave him a Christmas gift. I feel like I won both fights.

“I know I had to knock him out but it’s boxing and this happens. There is no doubt in my mind I won this fight.

“Frank [Warren] had me three or four rounds up and a lot of people had me up by at least two.

“I’m not going to cry over spilled milk, it’s over now.

“I’ve been in boxing my whole life but I’ll always feel a little bit hard done by – not a little bit, a lot.”

Usyk meanwhile took completely the opposite view and even accused Fury’s promoter Frank Warren of being ‘blind’.

He said: “Uncle Frank, I think he is blind.

“If Tyson says it is a Christmas gift then OK, thank you God, not Tyson. Thank you to my team.”

Saudi Arabia has become a more popular venue in the past few years to hold big boxing fights, with Riyadh playing stage to both bouts between Usyk and Fury.

And Turki Alalshikh has now outlined the next two fights he hopes will be held in his country in 2025, potentially seeing Daniel Dubois facing Usyk for a second time and Fury at last taking on Anthony Joshua.

Speaking to The Stomping Ground, he said: “Next I want, if [Daniel] Dubois wins [against Joseph Parker] in February, I want to see Usyk and Dubois again.

“I wanted to see Tyson maybe with [Anthony] Joshua, we will decide. Let’s see what can happen. Everything in Riyadh Season is realistic.”
