Coleen Rooney’s son in savage dig at mum in surprise I’m A Celebrity moment

Coleen Rooney was surprised by two of her kids as her I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here journey nears its end – but the kids made an honest confession

As Coleen Rooney was treated to a surprise visit in the I’m A Celebrity camp by two sons and her mum, emotions were high.

However, her kids couldn’t help but be honest with their mum with a savage dig. After sneaking up on her as she spoke to mum Colette, the boys made Coleen shed more tears. But as they embraced in a hug, one of her sons was heard cheekily saying: “You stink.”

He shared: excitedly told his mum: “I won city,” and told her he scored. Coleen then reassured her kids: “I’m crying because I’m happy, because I’ve missed you so much!”

Fans on Twitter/X were loving her son’s dig. One user wrote: “Coleen, with tears in her eyes, “Oh my god, how are you? I’ve missed you!” Her eldest, unfazed, “You stink!” Only kids could break the jungle’s emotional barrier with brutal honesty!”

Another added: “Coleen’s son. “ew you stink” #ImACeleb,” while a third said: “Coleen to her sons: “oh my god. how are you? I’ve missed you!” Her eldest son: “you stink!” I’m wheezing!”

Coleen wasted no time at all giving her mum and two boys a tour of the camp, including her bed and the dunny with Cass trying on her jungle hat. Giving them an emotional hug goodbye she told the boys it was only a couple more days and then it would be the countdown to Christmas.

Two of Coleen’s sons Kit, eight, and Cass, six have made the trip to Australia to see her, while her other boys Kai, 15, and Klay, 11, stay at home. Explaining the decision just before the series started, Coleen told the Mirror : “They all had the option but the two older ones decided that they would stay at home to continue with school and football. I think I said when you come you’ll have to bring your work with you, and they would be missing some football tournaments, so they quickly changed their minds!

“And also the fact that they don’t know when they get to see me. That was another big thing, is if I did last and stayed in close to the end, there’s not going to be any time spent with me so I explained that.”

She continued at the time: “Obviously, I would have liked them all to come out but it makes sense in a way and they both chose a wise decision not to miss out on anything back home and as soon as the show’s over, I’m back straight away. So, it’s one of those things, I put it in their hands, they decided and I agree with it really. I think it was missing the football that really did it for them, they didn’t want to miss any tournaments.”
