GK Barry reveals exactly what girlfriend Ella said to her on the bridge ‘it says a lot about her’

I’m a Celeb sensation GK Barry has opened up about her girlfriend.
In a wide-ranging interview with the Mirror, she says she surprised herself by opening up so much about her footballer girlfriend Ella Rutherford on the show.
“Before I went in, I was quite private about my relationship…I didn’t say her name or anything, but I just thought, I really want to connect with these people and relate to a lot of them, ” she says.
“So when I was talking with Dean, I wanted to be as open as possible and I just thought, you know what, I’m just going to say it. I was like, I can’t sit there and not say how I feel.”
Ella met Grace on the famous jungle bridge at the end for an emotional reunion – and she vowed to never spend so much time apart in future.
Opening up about that moment, she says: “It was like a mirage when you see things in the desert that aren’t there. I had to touch her just to make sure. It was incredible.
“She just said how proud she was. Never again, are we leaving each other. We must be joined at the hip at all times.”
Grace says she hopes that Ella will have a new-found appreciation for her cooking skills, after (eventually) impressing the camp.
“I think she maybe appreciates my cooking a little bit more,” she laughs.
Asked what they spoke about on the bridge, she says: “She basically said to me, this is your moment.….this is all about you. I feel like it says a lot about her.”

How does she feel about the attention? “I don’t think she minds…she’s quite shy when it comes to that,” she says.
And Grace says that Ella is already a big fan of Richard, and has even been getting to know his brother who has come out to support him in Australia.
“She loves him. She thought that was absolutely hilarious. And actually she’s been getting to know Alan’s brother too, so two of my closest friends in there.”
Unsurprisingly, Grace says it was easy to forget the cameras were there.
A clip of her talking with the Rev about her sex-life – including “scissoring” her girlfriend – was one such conversation that went viral.
“You get this sense of ‘I’m just sat around with my friends, and no one else is really watching.’ The amount of things I’ve heard now that I’ve spoken about, I can’t quite believe. I can’t believe I taught a man of God what scissoring was. That’s going on my CV. My parents are used to it by now. Honestly, they’re not shocked by anything I say now.”

She says even she was surprised by the closeness of her connection with Richard – and they have already planned a succession of post jungle activities.
“He’s taking me to the opera and to have a Prosecco. He’s going to teach me how to make homemade mayonnaise, because he’s very against shop bought,” she says.
“I’m going to take him to get a vajazzle, and I think we’re going to go and stay with Barry in his house.”
