I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! star Coleen Rooney made a heartbreaking confession about being ‘proud of herself’ for reaching the final.

The WAG, who is married to Wayne Rooney, made it to the final three with McFly’s Danny Jones and Reverend Richard Coles. The three celebrated reaching the final, with Richard saying he ‘couldn’t believe’ he was in the final three. He said he ‘never thought he’d made it this far’.

Danny added that it felt ‘amazing’ as he ‘didn’t expect this at all’. Meanwhile, Coleen got a little bit emotional as she opened up in the Bush Telegraph. She said: “Knowing that I have made it to the final makes me proud. I’m a proud mum, I’m a proud wife, I’m a proud daughter, it’s very rare that I’m proud of myself, so it means a lot. It’s very rare that I put myself first, so yeah these are happy tears!”

It comes a few days after Coleen last cried ‘happy tears’ when she was reunited with her mother, Colette, and her two younger children. During a surprise visit, Coleen burst into tears when she saw her mum and said: “I don’t want you to leave me now!” However, she wasn’t expecting any more visitors and she heard a “boo!” and turned around to see Kit and Cass run to give her a hug.

And Kit had one remark when he first hugged his mum, as he said: “She stinks!” and he also had some special news to tell her. Referring to a football match he recently played in, he shared: “I won City!” and she replied: “Brilliant, did you score?” An emotional Kit nodded, and a tearful Coleen reassured him: “I’m crying because I’m happy, because I’ve missed you so much!”

Coleen wasted no time at all giving her mum and two boys a tour of the camp, including her bed and the dunny as well as the Bush Telegraph, with Cass trying on her jungle hat. But before too long it was time for them to leave again as Coleen carried on her quest to be queen of the jungle. Giving them an emotional hug goodbye she told the boys it was only a couple more days and then it would be the countdown to Christmas.
