Influencer Kate Cassidy shared a devastating video tribute to her late boyfriend Liam Payne as she posted a series of unseen moments between the couple before his tragic death

Kate Cassidy has shared an emotional tribute to her late partner Liam Payne just weeks after his funeral.

The 25-year-old social media influencer decided to post some unseen moments between the couple during their two years together. Liam tragically died at the age of 31 in October after falling from the third floor of a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The One Direction singer’s funeral took place in Buckinghamshire last month.

Kate compiled sweet moments she shared with Liam in a TikTok video and simply wrote: “I love you.” In the since deleted post, she compiled clips to the song Fade Into You by Mazzy Star. The couple were seen laughing, hugging and kissing in intimate moments from their travels.

Liam picked Kate up in one loving moment, while another showed them both beaming as they enjoyed a cosy cabin getaway. Kate also shared moments from a ski trip as well as visits to a bowling alley. She added a close look into their relationship by sharing videos of them cuddling in bed and dancing in a bathroom together.

Kate and Liam started dating in October 2022 and before his tragic death, the pair headed to Argentina to see Niall Horan’s concert. Paying tribute to her late boyfriend in a heartfelt social media post, Kate revealed they had been hoping to take their relationship to the next level.

She said: “A few weeks ago we sat outside on a beautiful evening manifesting our lives together. I keep your note close, even though you told me not to look at it. It said: ‘Me and Kate to marry within a year/engaged and together forever 444. Liam, I know we’ll be together forever, but not in the way that we planned. You’ll always be with me. I’ve gained a guardian angel. I will love you for the rest of my life and beyond, carrying our dreams and memories with me wherever I go. Forever yours, Katelyn, 444.”

Kate explained “444” is the number of angels. On her Instagram she said: “More often, you will see the number 444 when you are feeling down. In simple sense, the number 444 reminds you that your angels are always there to support you. When you see this number you will be reassured that you are protected and loved by the angels.”

Kate travelled to England to attend Liam’s funeral service at St Mary’s Church in Amersham, Buckinghamshire, with the support of her friend Damian Hurley. She remained in the country following the funeral and appeared tearful while in London. Kate had decided to fly back to the couple’s home in Miami on October 14, just days before Liam’s death as he had stayed behind to renew his US visa.

She said on social media it was starting to feel a bit too long to hang out in the country. In a video she posted a TikTok before Liam died, Kate said: “I was so ready to leave. Love South America, but I hate staying in one place for too long and we were supposed to be there for five days, turned into two weeks and I was just like, ‘I need to go home.’”
