Oleksandr Usyk fires rare dig at Daniel Dubois after he’s shown picture by journalist that he ‘doesn’t like’
The unified heavyweight champion did not hold back when speaking about Daniel Dubois.
Unified heavyweight world champion Oleksandr Usyk has seemingly aimed a dig at British fighter Daniel Dubois.
Usyk, 37, retained his world titles with a unanimous points decision victory over Tyson Fury, 36, at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Saturday evening.
After the fight, Dubois, 27, entered the ring and made his intentions of fighting Usyk clear.
Of course, a bout between the pair would mean that all four ‘recognised’ belts would be up for grabs, with the winner likely to become the undisputed heavyweight champion.

“Usyk! I want my revenge,” Dubois said when he interrupted Usyk’s post-fight interview.
“Well done on tonight. God bless.
“I want my revenge for the robbery last time.
“Let’s get it. Let’s go. Where’s Frank [Warren]? Make it happen!”
“Mr Excellency, Your Excellency,” Usyk replied.
“Make me fight with Daniel Dubois. Thank you so much.”
Of course, the pair previously fought in Poland back in 2023, with Usyk knocking the Brit out in the ninth round of the contest.

But it was the fifth round of the fight that raised a few eyebrows. During the round, Dubois floored the Ukrainian with a body shot, but the referee deemed the shot a low blow and gave the 37-year-old time to recover.
This caused some debate in the boxing world, with many believing the punch to be legal.
Now, a video has emerged of the Usyk seemingly aiming a dig at the British fighter.
The ‘Cat’ was shown a graphic of himself holding a briefcase and a gun, appearing to leave several of his former opponents, including Anthony Joshua, Fury, Tony Bellew and Derek Chisora, in his wake.
“I don’t like this picture,” said Usyk.
“Why,” asked a person behind the camera.
“Tony Bellew, my best friend, Derek [Chisora] too, maybe Anthony [Joshua] too, [Daniel] Dubois not, [Tyson] Fury maybe,” the Ukrainian added.
Dubois last fought back in September 2024, when he put in a flawless performance knocking Joshua out in the fifth round of their heavyweight clash at Wembley.
The Brit currently sports an impressive record of 22 wins – 21 by knockout – and just two losses, one against Usyk and the other against Joe Joyce in November 2020.
