Back in July, it was claimed that Ruth had been left “shocked” after learning that Eamonn had got close to a new woman.

It was then reported that Ruth was planning on a “revenge romance” of her own.

According to a source who spoke to The Mirror, pals of the 64-year-old reportedly had a “long list” of men they believe could make her happy.

“They feel she could easily have a revenge romance tomorrow if she needs to,” the source claimed.

“Dating feels like a terrifying other world to Ruth, but her pals have promised to hold her hand through the process once she’s ready,” they then added.

The source then added that Ruth is “excited about a romantic future”.

Stunning makeover

Following her split, Ruth underwent a stunning makeover that sent her fans wild.

In June, Ruth shared some stunning snaps on Instagram after having her hair and makeup done.

The caption of the post, which was shared by her hairstylist, read: “Huntastic.”

“Ruth you look amazing, younger and happier… Keep doing what you’re doing,” one fan commented.

“You look absolutely glowing!” another gushed.

“Hair straighter makes you look younger,” a third wrote.

The star also recently had her hair done again and this time, she opted for some longer extensions. She told fans: “Extensions time again! @leobancroft salon. Decided to keep them a bit longer this time (lots of you told me to last time!)

“Fitted by the lovely Lauren (you can also book Kristen) cut and styled by Leo. I’m not good at doing this ‘bendy wave’ stuff so not sure if I’ll keep them this length, but going to give it a whirl!

Since her split, Ruth has been seen still wearing her wedding ring.

Many of her fans have questioned her decision to do this. Until recently, when she finally addressed the decision.

In a video posted on her Instagram recently, Ruth was busy showing fans how she food preps.

“SUNDAY FOOD PREP! Lots of you ask how I make my green juice that I take to work in the mornings… well this is how. It varies depending on what I’ve got in the fridge but you get the jist… easy way to get some fruit and veg down!” she wrote.

However, some fans couldn’t help but notice that she had her wedding ring on in the video.

“Why has she still got her wedding rings on?” one fan commented.

“Because I’m still married,” Ruth then replied. That’s them told.
