There was more heartache for the stars of I’m A Celebrity on Tuesday night, with them left “absolutely shocked”.
They weren’t the only ones, as viewers at home were also left reeling over some unexpected news. Hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly delivered some upsetting news to camp, which the stars of the show did not see coming.
It was the result of the latest vote-off that aired on Monday night, and featured in Tuesday’s highlights. Ant and Dec dropped the sad news that Tulisa Contostavlos was out of the show, voted to leave by the public.
Tulisa was the third star to leave, following Jane Moore and Dean McCullough’s own departures in previous days. It’s safe to say her exit came as a big surprise, as her new pals looked super sad to be saying goodbye to her.
Just moments earlier, Tulisa had reflected on her time in camp. She said: “It is time again real soon for someone else to leave, we’ve all gotta go out at some point, we’ve just gotta enjoy every moment. If I’m given another day, I’m super grateful and if I’m not, I’m grateful for the experience I’ve had thus far.”
When Ant and Dec revealed who would be leaving, Tulisa’s first response was: “I’m going for pizza guys!” As she said her goodbyes she left the jungle, while her co-stars reeled.

Oti Mabuse was one star who shared her sadness, revealing: “I can’t believe Tulisa is going. I’m in absolute shock.” Alan Halsall was also stunned, gutted to say goodbye to his “original wife from the Leaders’ Lodge”.
On Monday’s show and on her way out of camp, Tulisa told Ant and Dec it was “hard in there” and she found jungle life tough. “You’re just going to be more grateful for everything.
“The food you eat, the people that you love… you don’t realise how good you’ve got it,” Tulisa told the hosts. She also said it was “testing” in there, but she stayed true to herself.
Appearing on ITV’s Lorraine on Tuesday morning, Tulisa shared more details of her time in the jungle as she hinted that not all of her famous friends were being as authentic as she had been. When asked by Lorraine if she feels as though she’s made friends for life in the jungle, Tulisa paused before she said: “I feel like I have with some of them.
“I think they will be friends for life. But a lot of people for the cameras were being very pally pally but the real test will be when everyone is out. Will they make the effort to send texts in the group chat? Will they do the four hour drives to see each other? We’ll see…” she mused.
