Jake Paul and Mike Tyson told to make drastic last-minute rule change that would shock the fight world

Jake Paul and Mike Tyson have been told to make a last-minute change a week out from their fight.

Jake Paul and Mike Tyson have been told to make a drastic last-minute rule change for their bout that would shock the fight world.

Paul vs. Tyson is just over a week away as the professional clash will be staged at Arlington’s AT&T Stadium, with VIP packages going for $2 million that include a series of luxury perks.

The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations have sanctioned the bout, with the result set to go on both of Paul and Tyson’s professional records.

The commission’s decision to sanction it as a pro fight has angered fans and critics alike, with former UFC fighter Brendan Schaub proposing a major rule change.

He has urged Tyson and Paul to make the boxing contest into a bare-knuckle fight to prove they’re not in ‘cahoots’ over the result amid claims the bout could be fixed.

On The Schaub Show podcast, he said: “Mike Tyson, god bless him, pulled out because of ulcers. You know, it’s just tough.”

Schaub, who had 11 fights inside the famed Octagon, added: “You want to get people intrigued with this fight, which they can’t, they keep trying but they can’t. Make it bare knuckle. If Jake gets hit with a bare-knuckle against Mike Tyson, this thing is over because now you’re like ‘are they in cahoots together, is there a fix going on?”

Paul’s victories over former UFC stars Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley have been subjected to ‘rig’ claims.

Schaub is clearly suspicious of the results of the 27-year-old’s fights.

‘The Problem Child’ hasn’t fought since his victory over Bare Knuckle FC star Mike Perry, who replaced Tyson following his ulcer flare-up.

As for ‘Iron’ Mike, he hasn’t fought professionally since his shock defeat to Ireland’s Kevin McBride.

But he returned to action back in November 2020 when he fought fellow great Roy Jones Jr in an exhibition.
