Katie Price has revealed both her mum and dad have been hospitalised over the last month as she shared her heartbreak with fans.

The former glamour model and mum-of-five’s mum Amy has a terminal lung disease idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), which she was diagnosed with in 2017. While she later received a lung transplant, Katie explained that her mum’s health has been “up and down”, with Amy being rushed to hospital in February after a burst cyst was discovered.

Appearing on a TikTok Live today, Katie insisted that her mum was on the mend but had been hospitalised for three weeks. She also revealed that her stepdad Paul – who she refers to as a dad and has a close relationship with – had received surgery and that she had to look after them both.

“My mum’s doing well – she was in hospital for 21 days,” she told fans. “My dad’s just had a major heart operation… you’ve got to look after them when they get old. “So there’s a lot going on behind the scenes.”

Katie went on to address the fake baby twin mystery, which was finally solved this week after numerous cryptic posts. Responding to a pregnant fan as she flogged clothes on the live, she said: “All this stuff I’m showing today is good for pregnancy.” Katie then shared her IVF heartbreak, explaining: “People keep asking if I’ve done IVF and I’ve done it five times and it’s failed.”

She explained that she had put on weight after going through IVF three times last year and hadn’t been in a good place mentally, which would all be shown in her upcoming documentary. She added cryptically: “There are other ways you can get your babies cos trust me, I’ve done it.”

It comes after Katie – who is mum to Harvey Price, 22, Junior and Princess Andre, 19 and 17, and Jett and Bunny Hayler, 11 and 10 – shocked her Instagram followers when she posted a picture of twin babies. The photo showed one baby dressed in pink and the other in grey, but she didn’t reveal their identities. With Katie’s hand tenderly placed upon them, yet their faces out of view, speculation was rife over who these infants could be. She went on to share more photos of the babies, but made sure to keep their faces covered.

Quizzed on whether she had twins, she replied to a fan: “Yes, I do have twins.” She added: “I haven’t named them, I don’t know what to name them.”

She previously posted one snap that she captioned: “Evening cuddles with my boy” and another this week that had her caption it with: “Multitasking with my babygirl.” However, it turns out that her twin babies might not even be real at all as sources claimed that they’re actually ‘hyperrealistic reborn dolls’.
