Lauryn Goodman has delivered a scathing verdict over Annie Kilner’s ‘divorce for cash’ rumours.

After years of heartache, Kyle Walker’s wife has decided to call it quits with the footballer, who fathered two kids with Lauryn behind Annie’s back. Now, the Celebs Go Dating star has weighed in on the drama, responding to a fan on Instagram, who asked whether she thought the WAG was divorcing Kyle so “your kids don’t get any money”.

Clearly frustrated, Lauryn replied: “So many money questions tonight and comments.. really odd. To answer to help the little troll site you’re on … We already have something in place through the courts so our children aren’t affected if this were to sadly happen. I’m also raising our children to make their own way in life. I want them to have that go-getter mentality. I think it’s super important.”

She then added: “Silly if you believe that narrative. Doesn’t affect my children’s maintenance whatsoever. It’s totally different and has no impact. I won’t say too much, but this isn’t the case.”

Mum-of-four Annie’s plans to finally divorce Kyle were unveiled last month. The WAG is allegedly preparing for a legal showdown to claim half of Kyle’s £27 million fortune after filing for divorce shortly after the defender returned to their family home. Despite living together again, the estranged couple are said to be in separate beds, and Annie feels “things are worse than ever,” unable to move past his betrayal.

Despite a brief reunion over the summer after splitting at the star of the year, with Annie taking the couple’s kids to support Kyle in the Euro 2024 tournament, things spiralled when the Sheffield-born sportsman recently moved back into their marital home in Cheshire.

Claiming Annie couldn’t get past her husband’s infidelity, a source told the Daily Mail: “Things are as bad between them as they have ever been. It wasn’t like a normal marriage. They have barely been speaking to each other. She is divorcing Kyle because she just can’t forgive him for what he’s done to her. She can’t get over it. She has tried. Kyle seems to have accepted it’s over. He’s been happier in the last week or so. Like the weight of the world’s been lifted from his shoulders.”
