Everyone is eager to see the clash between undefeated boxing stars come to life. Gervonta Davis and Shakur Stevenson, both unbeaten and top lightweight world champions, have fans and boxing legends anticipating this matchup. Recently, boxing icon Mike Tyson weighed in with his prediction on how the fight would unfold.

At 58, Tyson shows no signs of giving up on boxing. He is set to face Jake Paul in an exhibition match on November 15. Recently, ‘Iron’ Mike appeared on the podcast “It Is What It Is” with host Camron Giles, where he discussed the upcoming Davis vs. Stevenson fight. Tyson expressed that it would be an exciting matchup and strongly favored Davis. He stated,

“Wow, that’s a good fight. I’m going with Tank. It would be a very interesting fight. To bring out the best in Shakur you gotta pressure him like Tank. Tank will bring out the best in him. Tank is just a monster.”

Tyson is enthusiastic about the upcoming fight, not just for Davis vs. Stevenson but also for his matchup against Jake Paul. However, following Tyson’s recent injury, UFC president Dana White has expressed uncertainty about whether the fight will actually take place.

Dana White Expresses Doubts Over Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson Fight Following Injury Concerns

The Paul vs. Tyson fight was initially slated for July at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, but it was postponed to November due to Mike’s unexpected health scare. Although it now appears that the fight will take place this November, the UFC president has been noncommittal about his predictions for the matchup and suggests it may not happen.

In a recent appearance at the Callum Walsh vs. Przemysław Runowski pre-fight press conference in Dublin, the UFC president was asked about his thoughts on the Paul vs. Tyson fight. White responded with uncertainity, stating,

“Does it happen? Yeah, that, well I don’t know, that remains to be seen you know. But, I’m hoping what we’re all hoping.”

Many have criticized Paul for choosing to fight an opponent significantly older than himself, and there are growing concerns about Tyson’s health. Nevertheless, the fight is still scheduled to take place on November 15 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
