MOLLY-MAE BREAKS SILENCE: Her two-word answer to a fan’s question about family life has everyone talking.K

Molly-Mae Hague publicly responds to fan asking about home life with two-word comment

Newly single mum Molly-Mae Hague responded to a fan’s query about a new arrival in the family home, as the dust continues to settle following her split from her daughter’s dad Tommy Fury

Molly-Mae Hague has given a brief insight into her home life as Christmas approaches.

In an Instagram photo dump she captioned “Grateful for the small things, big things and everything in between”, Molly-Mae shared a photo of a tiny chocolate brown puppy being cradled in the arms of a woman wearing a brown coat. The pup is zonked out, and looks very comfortable.

One fan asked: “Is this your cocker spaniel puppy?”

Molly-Mae replied: “I wish. We met him in the Apple Store and he fell asleep in my friends arms.”

The Love Island star hasn’t had a dog since the death of her Pomeranian puppy, Mr. Chai, who she bought with her ex, boxer Tommy Fury. The couple, both 25, learnt a hard lesson about buying designer dogs from puppy farms back in 2020 when their pedigree dog died six days after they imported him from Russia.

The pair had vowed to call in veterinary experts after being devastated by their pet’s tragically short life. After hearing back, Molly revealed in a YouTube video: “The autopsy results showed that his skull wasn’t fully developed and part of his brain was exposed.

“He didn’t have a single white blood cell left in his body” added Molly, explaining that it meant the dog was unable to fight off any infection or bacteria he came into contact with. She also revealed Mr Chai was born with organs that were too big for his small body.

“While we understand everyone’s opinions about him being shipped over from Russia, you need to understand that this is not what made that baby dog pass away. That’s not what made him die.

“He was going to die regardless. If we had the time again we would have got a dog from the UK or got a rescue dog from the UK.”

She also slammed trolls who accused her of getting the dog as an ‘Instagram accessory.’

Molly had come under scrutiny for setting up a separate Instagram account for her pooch immediately after taking him in.

“Our lives are on social media,” Molly said in her defence. “My full time job is to post my life and to show you guys what I’m doing. That’s why Chai was on our Instagram.”

“We are not asking for any sympathy. We don’t deserve any sympathy. What’s happened is awful and I’m just asking for you to understand that a dog travelling from Russia is not the reason why he died.”

Molly said she’d even questioned if she could still call herself an animal lover after what happened but said she hoped by sharing her story others would learn a valuable lesson.
