FANS have hit out at Ruth Langsford after she revealed a glam transformation following her split from Eamonn Holmes.

The 64-year-old took to Instagram to reveal she’d been for a very posh day of pampering.

Loose Women anchor Ruth told followers that her hairdresser’s usual Notting Hill salon was closed for reburbishment so her appointment was taking place at Claridge’s Hotel.

The presenter – who announced her split from Eamonn, also 64, in May – was seen enjoying a cup of tea while having her hightlights touched up.

She wrote: “HIGHLIGHTS TIME!

“@joshwood salon in Notting Hill is being refurbished so I went to see him at his salon in @claridgeshotel Very fancy!!

“Thank you Josh, Dylan @cheyenne.bleux & @cherylmunozhair for a lovely experience and for all the lols! Feeling lighter & brighter!”

While many fans left supportive messages, some weren’t as impressed with Ruth’s latest upload.

One wrote: “Totaly show off… sorry.”

Another said: “Why can’t you go and have your hair done without recording it.”

And a third added: “Omg nice to be able to afford that cost.”

Last week it was revealed Ruth is still wearing her wedding ring months after her split from Eamonn.

She flashed the sparkler off as she modelled her clothing range for QVC.

As Ruth showed off her latest collection of trench coats the ring was clearly visible on her left hand.
