Tulisa makes surprise I’m A Celebrity u-turn after appearing to snub ITV reunion
N-Dubz singer Tulisa Contostavlos appears to have had a change of heart following her dramatic exit from I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!
Former X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos has seemingly been sending mixed messages since her I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here exit.
The 36-year-old N-Dubz star had seemed to snub the hit ITV series after her exit from the jungle camp. Not only did she avoid any appearance on its sister show, Unpacked, she also appeared to leave the country early to make a swift return to the UK.
Despite seemingly trying to distance herself from her co-stars, she has now took the opportunity to share the I’m Coming Out show, which airs tonight. Tulisa took to her Instagram Stories to share a reel which was advertising the show. She wrote on the share telling fans to “tune in” and followed it with a love heart emoji.
The final programme from this series says the stars back together, with the likes of winner Danny Jones and Coleen Rooney involved once again. The moment when Tulisa’s fellow contestants had discovered she had abruptly left Australia has been unveiled in a sneak peek of the special Coming Out episode released by ITV.

She is seen in the clip appearing on a TV screen as she says: “Hello everybody, I’m so proud of you all, you’ve absolutely smashed it, now I want you to go and eat yourselves into an oblivion. I’m so sorry that I can’t be there so have a big old drink for me. I love you lots like jelly tots and I will see you soon.” The star had removed all of her social media posts surrounding her experience after her eviction. Despite concern by fans as to why she did this, she later claimed she had “no issues” with the content. She instead explained she had felt “a little bit overwhelmed”.
Speaking about her experience in a film shortly before she fled Australia, Tulisa admitted she “didn’t feel different” after life in camp. She had claimed before her appearance on the hit show that it could be “closure” for her and “like therapy” having previously had a sex tape leaked and was wrongly accused of being a drug dealer. However, after openly speaking about her tough life experiences on the show, she had a bad reaction after being voted out early in the series and did not stay on in Australia with other campmates.
And in the new show, she is seen being greeted by her friend Michelle McKenna. Both of them are seen laughing at how much they looked forward to wine, pizza and pasta. But tellingly Tulisa then says: “I said I was going to come out a different person but I don’t feel different. I feel more strong in who I am.”
