A famed Australian DJ has weighed in on alleged ‘freak-off’ parties held by Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, as the American rapper faces s3x trafficking charges.

DJ Havana Brown told HIT WA’s Allan & Carly radio show on Tuesday that she believes the alleged parties were an open secret in the entertainment business.

‘It’s not a secret in the industry at all, what was happening… Absolutely everybody in the industry knew what was going on’ the 39-year-old said.

‘I don’t know why it was so kept so secret and why no one said anything about it. Like everyone knew about these freak-off parties. Everyone talked about it.’

Brown says she did not attend the parties personally but had been in ‘uncomfortable’ situations.

‘I have been in situations that are connected to him where I have felt very uncomfortable… But not at a freak-off party’ she said.

‘I’m too wise to be putting myself in that situation. I would never – it’s too scary for me. I don’t want to ever be put in a situation where you have to say no, because that’s when they just ruin you’.

Diddy has been charged with s3x trafficking and related crimes and will likely spend about 10 years behind bars if found guilty.

Combs, 54, was arrested last week at a New York City hotel and charged with racketeering conspiracy; s3x trafficking by force, fraud or coercion; and transportation to engage in prostitution.

On Wednesday Combs has been denied bail for a second time.

The star is set to remain in a Brooklyn jail until he stands trial in his s3x trafficking case, after a second judge refused to accept a $50million bail package offered by his lawyers.

US district judge Andrew L Carter Jr dismissed Combs’ request to be released to home detention with GPS monitoring, with the judge pointing out that the hip-hop mogul could potentially tamper with witnesses.

Combs pleaded not guilty to allegations of s3x trafficking on September 19.

The rapper appeared at a court in Manhattan after being charged with racketeering conspiracy, s3x trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution.

Asked during a court hearing how he pleaded to the charges, Combs replied: ‘Not guilty.’

The rapper’s lawyers subsequently requested that Combs be freed on bond, pending trial, after paying a sum of $50million.

However, following a a lengthy debate between legal teams on whether Combs represents a flight risk, Magistrate Judge Robyn Tarnofsky announced that the rap star will remain in detention until his s3x trafficking trial begins.

Marc Agnifilo – Combs’ lawyer – subsequently said that the music star is determined to ‘establish his innocence’.

Agnifilo told reporters outside the court: ‘He’s going to fight this. He’s innocent. He came to New York to establish his innocence.

‘We believe in him wholeheartedly. He didn’t do these things. There’s no coercion and no crime.’

Combs is ‘not afraid of the charges’ he’s currently facing, according to his lawyer.

Agnifilo added: ‘He’s been looking forward to this day, and he’s been looking forward to clearing his name.’
