Claudia Winkleman made an announcement just minutes into tonight’s Strictly Come Dancing.
As Claudia and Tess Daly welcomed viewers to the show, Claudia paused before making an announcement about the contestants.
She said: “For the first time in Strictly history, all our couples are entering this week of the competition having scored a ten.”
As the audience began to cheer, Tess added: “We still haven’t seen the elusive 40 yet and there is only one group of people who can change that. So please welcome the judges.”
On Sunday night, one celebrity will be sent home – and it’s not looking good for Pete Wicks and his dance partner, who opened the show.

The ex-reality star and Jowita Przystal, are in danger of exiting the competition this weekend, based on the latest odds from bookmakers.
Betway spokesperson Mike Reading remarked: “Following the glitz and glamour of Blackpool and Wynne Edwards’ elimination, the Strictly contestants are back in the ballroom to face another challenging week.
“This weekend, the stars will have to perform their usual routines and participate in a Samba-thon in hopes of progressing to everyone’s favourite – Musicals Week. Reality star Pete Weeks is the 5/6 favourite to depart the dance floor this weekend, despite having been saved from the dance-off twice this series. Another dance-off survivor, Montell Douglas, isn’t far behind and is priced up at 3/1 to Samba her way out.”

“Meanwhile, Chris McCausland continues to lead as the favourite to advance to next week after delivering a flawless American Smooth at the renowned Blackpool Tower Ballroom, earning an impressive 37 out of 40 from the judges.”
Fans also fear for Pete as they opened the show, with many taking to X to share their concerns. One pleaded: “Please keep Pete in tonight, he is what strictly is all about, a none dancer learning along the way!!”
“Pete opening the show AGAIN?! Also way undermarked AGAIN,” another complained while a third went on: “Sadly the song choice let Pete down this week and the Tango was a little slow because of that. No way was that Tango worth an 8.”
Someone else said: “I agree I don’t think that music did #Pete any favours!”
“Pete could be in trouble this week – little for him to shine with in that choreography. #Strictly,” another feared.
