Cat Deeley turned heads in a striking gold sequin slip gown as she attended the 2024 Harper’s Bazaar Women Of The Year Awards.

The This Morning host, 48, was among the stars who stepped out for the event at Claridge’s Hotel in London.

Cat looked sensational for the event – which was held in partnership with The Platinum Card by American Express – in a gold halterneck sleek gown.

Her garment was adorned with sequins and was complete with a plunging neckline, as she paired it with a matching gold clutch bag.

Cat finished off her look by wearing her golden locks down by her shoulders in loose waves.

Her appearance came hours after her This Morning co-host Ben Shephard dropped her as they attempted the viral Dancing With The Stars lift on Tuesday’s episode.

Presenters Ben, 49, and Cat, 48, took on the challenge right at the start of the show but it seriously backfired.

The move was performed by this season’s contestant Danny Amendola and his partner, Witney Carson, as he lifted her from the ground by the ankle.

The elaborate choreography has now gone viral on TikTok, with thousands of people trying it out for themselves at home.

Last season’s DWTS contestant Ariana Madix, Nick Cannon and Summer House stars Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke are all among those who tried it.

The duo opened the show with Ben asking Cat if she was okay after they attempted the move saying: ‘Do you need medical assistance!?’

They then played the clip of them trying it before they went live on air as Ben struggled to get Cat up off the floor.

When he did get her up she nearly made it to her feet before falling to the ground in a heap and laughing.

Cat recently struggled to fight back tears when she was presented with an emotional birthday tribute live on air.

Marking her 48th birthday, the host was surprised with a caterpillar-shaped chocolate cake with a photo of her face from Ben and a poem.

As the ITV show opened they were joined by poet Pam Ayres who read out a personalised piece she had written in honour of Cat’s birthday.

The presenter explained that her family had woken her at 5.30am to give her their cards before she headed into the studio.

‘I got up at 5.30am, there were cards made,’ Cat began.

She continued: ‘There was one where we were all swimming underwater and they’d made it.

‘It said, “take a deep breath, Mum, you’re getting old”. They thought it was the funniest thing on the planet.’

Cat shares two sons Milo, eight, and James, five, with her husband Patrick Kielty.
