SIMON Cowell looked in good spirits as he joined fiancée Lauren Silverman for a drive around in an electric car.
It was hard to miss the pair was the drove around in the bright blue vehicle near their home in Malibu, California.

The roofless and doorless car meant everyone could see the pair, who both kept things casual in all black outfits and matching sunglasses.
Lauren wore a baseball cap as well to hide herself from the heat.
Simon, 64, gave a small smile as he drove by, during some downtime between filming live shows of America’s Got Talent.
He will return to UK soil next month for the latest season of Britain’s Got Talent, which has been confirmed to have an extended run lasting four months.
In a shake-up of the show’s format, the show will launch in February rather than April, with live semi-finals will airing weekly every Saturday night, rather than the traditional nightly episodes across one week.
Simon’s fellow judges Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli will all return, as will judges Ant and Dec.
The news comes after Simon had to fight to get Bruno back on the panel, with the new schedule clashing with his regular spot on Dancing With The Stars.
Bruno has been a long-time judge on the US version of Strictly Come Dancing, having been on the show since 2005.
His position on Dancing With The Stars marked the beginning of the end of his time on Strictly, as travel between London and Los Angeles became impossible during the pandemic.
But Simon will fork out thousands to have the popular 68-year-old Italian flown back and forth.
A source said: “When Bruno joined BGT last year, he breathed new life into the show. Simon loved how unpredictable he was and thought he made great TV. From the ratings, it’s clear the viewers agreed too.
“When plans were drawn up to revamp BGT for 2025, it was quickly flagged to Simon and the producers that Bruno is already committed to Dancing With The Stars.
“Simon managed to find a way to make it work. It means while a stand-in judge may be needed once or twice, Bruno remains on the show.
“Flying back and forth isn’t ideal for him but he loves both shows and is committed to them.”
