Dermot O’Leary COMFORTS Alan Titchmarsh as they are CONFRONTED by the the ‘WORLD’S MOST FLEXIBLE GIRL’ on This Morning

Dermot O’Leary had to comfort Alan Titchmarsh as they met the ‘world’s most flexible girl’ on Friday’s This Morning.

The presenter, 51,  rushed to put his arms around the Love Your Garden star as contortionist Liberty Barros took over the studio to show off her flexibility.

Alan looked mystified as the  performer, 16, threw herself into all sorts of shapes right before his eyes on the famous ITV set.

Liberty looked full of confidence as she threw her legs over her head and let her feet dangle in front of the makeshift kitchen worktop.

The world-record holder insisted that she was in ‘no pain’ pulling her famous moves and does a little bit of yoga to warm up every morning.

She has made the act into her career and has performed all over the world but only discovered her talent thanks to pop star Rihanna.

But her talent came as a surprise to her more than anyone else because she wasn’t flexible at all as a child.

She explained: ‘What’s weird is I was never flexible at all when I was younger. I would dance, gymnastics, anything athletic and end up with my face on the floor.

‘I would literally crumble like a cookie.’

‘I had a breathing difficulty, so I couldn’t do a lot of things and I sounded a bit funny when I talked.

‘It was only when I was 10 years old and I was watching Rihanna music video and I copied a dance move she did in it. I bent my body backwards.

‘And then my breathing difficulty went away.

‘When I was 12, I added in animation dance movements and that’s how I started.’

Alan was on the show to promote his gardening series, but also revealed that he stays away from social media.

He said: I’m not on Facebook, I don’t look at it because I have enough to cope. I’m not denying real life, I’m choosing a part of life I can cope with.

‘And like everyone else, stresses and strains come from own family and friends, I worry about them.

‘I try not to worry about what people say about me because what’s the point?’
