Tiffany Red, a songwriter and friend to the singer Cassie Ventura, looked back at a scary incident in which Cassie’s ex Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs allegedly berated her

During her appearance Wednesday on the ABC special Secret Life of Diddy — A Special Edition of 20/20, Tiffany recounted a 2015 incident in which she allegedly heard Diddy belittling Cassie, 38, over the phone.

‘I remember her being like, “You wanna see something crazy?” And I was like, “What?” And she answered the phone,” the 37-year-old songwriter recalled in the special.

She said the 54-year-old rap mogul allegedly responded with ‘B****, where the f*** are you?’ as soon as he answered the phone.

DailyMail.com has reached out to a representative for Combs for comment.

Red, 37, claimed Cassie asked her if she wanted to ‘see something crazy,’ then called up Diddy, who allegedly opened with, ‘B****, where the f*** are you?’

Red went on to claim that Diddy ‘was so upset that she was out.

‘I remember him screaming and saying, “Is someone in the car with you? I know someone is in the car with you,”‘ she recalled.

According to the songwriter, Diddy’s unexpectedly furious response led her to realize there was something seriously ‘wrong’ with her friend Cassie’s relationship.

Combs’ fury was even more apparently when Red allegedly saw Diddy screaming at Cassie later that year at her 29th birthday party.

She claimed she walked out of the main room, only to find Diddy and his security guard with Cassie just outside the door.

‘They have her in the corner, and he’s in her face, and he’s cussing her out,’ she said.

Red said Diddy appeared to be ‘really mad’ in the moment.

‘He was really close to her face, and she just had her head down. When I was standing over to the side, she just was kind of looking up at me,’ she recalled.

Red added that she was convinced that ‘everybody’ around the I’ll Be Missing You rapper was ‘was afraid of him.’

She described him as ‘explosive,’ before noting how he was allegedly protected by his friends in high places.

‘What you gonna do? He’s got the keys to the cities. He’s friends with the politicians. He’s friends with this person,’ she claimed. ‘Who’s gonna challenge that? And when? And be believed? Yeah, right.’

In November of 2023, Cassie sued the rapper, claiming he abused her, s3xually assaulted her and plied her with drugs for over a decade.

In addition to accusing the record label head of rape, s3xual battery and physical abuse, she also claimed that he had forced her to have s3x with male prostitutes while he watched and masturbated.

The rapper allegedly photographed and filmed some of these encounters, and Cassie claimed that she was forced to watch the recordings of herself having s3x with other men while under the influence of copious drugs.

Elsewhere in her suit, the singer alleged that Diddy at one point made her hold his gun in her handbag.

She also claimed that in 2012 he blew up the rapper Kid Cudi’s car in retaliation for a brief relationship he and Cassie had when she was on the outs with him, which Diddy allegedly told Cassie he planned to do beforehand.

Diddy vehemently denied all of the allegations before settling the lawsuit within a day.

He and Cassie were together for around 10 years, though they were on and off at several times before the relationship ended for good in 2018.

In May, months after Cassie and Diddy resolved their legal dispute, a video from 2016 emerged, purportedly showing the rapper physically assaulting her.

Diddy issued an apology on social media, seemingly expressing remorse for his ‘inexcusable’ behavior, though he did not directly reference Cassie.
