GK Barry has spoken about whether she’s really ‘feuding’ with her Loose Women co-star Frankie Bridge as she opened up about breaking into the world of TV.
The social media star and Saving Grace podcast host, real name Grace Keeling, 25, spilled all in an interview with MailOnline to promote her campaign with Nationwide.
Earlier this month, Loose Women fans accused The Saturdays star Frankie of ‘not liking’ guest panellist Grace after she implied she made a ‘backhanded compliment’ towards her.
However, the influencer has now revealed that the duo ‘were laughing about’ the rumours and the singer was ‘actually really lovely’ to her the entire time she was on the show.
Grace is the youngest ever panellist to appear on Loose Women and was born in the year the ITV daytime show started.

Earlier this month, Loose Women fans accused The Saturdays star Frankie of ‘not liking’ guest panelist Grace after she implied she made a ‘backhanded compliment’ towards her
The social media star explained: ‘It is 100% [just people speculating] because we were laughing about it after the last episode that we did because all of the headlines were like: GK Barry and Frankie’s massive feud.
‘We were completely fine and she was actually really lovely to me when I got there and after the show. It was just a joke with the whole age thing on the panel but I think some people did take it seriously.
Grace made her first appearance on the ITV show back in August and admitted that at first she was ‘so scared’ to disagree with her co-stars.
She told MailOnline: ‘To start with on my first episode I was so scared to disagree with any of their points because I thought they’re going to come for me.
‘But they are so so lovely. We have a meeting before and we discuss the topics and say our piece and and then we talk about our difference in opinions and then you go on the show and you talk about it.
‘I was really overthinking everything I was saying but now I’ve done it a couple of times it gets easier.’
GK has ‘always wanted’ to break into the world of TV and believes that the industry needs fresh and young voices to keep going.

She told MailOnline: ‘To start with on my first episode I was so scared to disagree with any of their points because I thought they’re going to come for me’
Reflecting, she added: ‘It was hard for someone to actually put me on TV because a lot of people that do the shows didn’t want digital creators on mainstream TV.
‘They’ve got the usual people that they use and I think they are very set in their ways. Whereas if you put someone digital on it brings in a whole different audience.
‘So a lot of people when I went on Loose Women, I had people my age messaging me and younger saying ‘I’ve never watched Loose Women before but best believe I’m watching it because you’re on it’. So it opens up a whole new audience.
‘We’re a generation now where I think a lot of us don’t watch TV we’re very much online or on Netflix and stuff like that so I think that it’s really important if you want to keep TV going to get my generation involved and back watching it.’
The social media star has been rumoured to be in talks to join I’m A Celeb later this this year, as well as previously stirring up Strictly Come Dancing speculation.
When quizzed about the possibility, Grace hinted: ‘I mean, I’m a very anxious person so, I know I’d probably make great TV and that’s what they wanted.
‘I’ve been rumoured for every show now under the sun, Strictly, all of it. So I think maybe one day who knows.
‘I think I’m A Celeb would be an amazing one to go on and I could also catch a tan so it’s a win-win. I think all of the shows, to be asked to do any of them would be amazing, I would jump at the chance.’

The podcaster and content creator kicked off her career after going viral on TikTok during lockdown and amassed thousands of followers within weeks, all while being a student at university.
Taking the digital world by storm, she now boasts 845,000 followers on Instagram, a whopping 3.6 million on TikTok, with her Saving Grace podcast earns around 740,000 monthly listeners.
Guests have included the likes of Rylan, Ella Toone, Zara McDermott, Coleen Nolan, and a slew of former Love Islanders.
Meanwhile, her viral videos detailing her escapades have racked up more than 275 million likes.
‘I think in the early days when I started TikTok I would just say anything and everything because I didn’t know the scale of which I would grow and the digital footprint would still be there,’ she revealed.
‘So there’s a lot of stories that I’ve done about school or exes or whatever and I never thought that they’d see it, but it turns out that they do see it and it creates a whole load of hell.
‘So I think for me now, I’m definitely happy to talk about when I’m drunk or partying but when it comes to relationships and stuff I like to keep that a little bit more private.’

Grace said: ‘But I think in myself, in my personality and in the way I live I am still very relatable. I’m still the same person I just maybe live a little bit differently now but I’d like to think I’m still there’
Discussing whether she’s worried about losing her relatability as her fame continues to grow, Grace explained: ‘My brand is being relatable and it is harder even going into TV and mixing with different people and that’s not a relatable thing to do.
‘But I think in myself, in my personality and in the way I live I am still very relatable. I’m still the same person I just maybe live a little bit differently now but I’d like to think I’m still there.’
‘At events like that [the NTAs] I’m still completely shocked at who I’m surrounded by. My mouth is open the entire time, those events I don’t think I’ll ever get used to, they are mental.’
Grace explained that her favourite Loose Women panellists are Denise, Nadia, and Kaye, but her main source of inspiration for her career actually dates back to her childhood.
She revealed: ‘When I was growing up women in comedy were still very… there weren’t many. But I remember when I was in school I used to watch Miranda a weird amount actually if we’re being honest.
‘I used to watch her box set over and over because she was the first woman that I’d seen on telly that was hilarious and she was also awkwardly tall like me. I related to her a lot so she was definitely someone that when I was growing up I looked up to.
‘But now I’d say Stacey Dooley because I used to love her documentaries and I’d love to follow in her footsteps. She’s an icon in her own right.’
When asked what’s next in the world of GK Barry, the social media star hinted that fans might want to keep their eyes peeled for special date later this year.
She revealed: ‘Definitely more TV, I want to be more on Loose Women, I absolutely love doing that show, I think it’s so fun.
‘When it comes to my podcast, maybe another tour. Maybe a special date before the end of the year for people to look out for…’
Grace this week teamed up with Nationwide to open a takeaway pop-up in Shoreditch, with students from across London were invited to chat with the star about how they’re feeling as they start their university days.
Reflecting upon her own chaotic university experiences, Grace added: ‘When I was at uni best believe I lived off pot noodles the entire time.
‘My health – horror. Pot noodles and vodka and I spent all my money on going out instead of a food shop so that would have been so beneficial for me.
‘If I had a Nationwide FlexStudent account at the time then things would have been different, it’s great that new sign-ups get some incredible perks, including £100 free cash and £120 of Just Eat vouchers.
‘Having moved away to university, I know firsthand that it can be a big step. It was a pleasure to open the doors to NationFried with Harry [Pinero] and welcome students in to chat about their concerns before they go to uni.
‘By sharing our own experiences of growing up, I hope it gives students reassurance as they navigate their move. Getting in on the perks of Nationwide’s FlexStudent account will certainly help them on their way.’
