As Coleen Rooney gets ready to make her I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here appearance, she has reportedly left hubby Wayne with a long list of rules to adhere to.

Coleen is leaving former footballer and current Plymouth Argyle manager Wayne Rooney behind in Blighty as she takes on the challenges Down Under. However, she’s said to have been strict with her “rules” for her man. Wayne has previously found himself in hot water in the pair’s relationship, and it’s thought Coleen’s family are making sure nothing can derail the former WAG’s time on the hit ITV show.

It’s claimed they will be in “close contact” with the ex-England skipper while she is away, with his own busy schedule meaning he isn’t able to join her on the other side of the world.

A source told The Sun: “The family want nothing to spoil Coleen’s experience on the show and they’re making it their business to ensure it can’t. Everyone will be checking in on Wayne and, as a family, they’ll be cheering her on to the final.”

It comes amid speculation Rebekah Vardy will be watching keenly in case of any negative comments by her rival to campmates. Rebekah, who starred on the reality contest in 2017, is reportedly set to watch the series – as are her lawyers. It comes after the pair’s bitter legal battle which continues to rumble on.

An expert told MailOnline it’s likely Rebekah will be “glued” to the series, with brand and culture expert Nick Ede saying she would be willing to launch a new lawsuit if any of Coleen’s comments could potentially defame her.

Ede told the publication: “100% Rebekah will not be happy that Coleen is going on the show. She will be keeping her eyes and ears glued to the screen in case she can garner any nuggets from Coleen that could potentially defame her. Rebekah famously went in the jungle herself and for Coleen to be following in her footsteps will add insult to injury.”

He added: “Coleen is a very private person so for her to agree to this will and to appear on the jungle producers will be wanting her to spill more beans about the Wagatha Christie case.”

However, he also stated it’s extremely likely Coleen will rehearse what she will say, knowing campmates will quiz her on the highly publicised court case.

Fans are eager to see how she will fare in the jungle, with bosses reportedly keen for her to spill the beans in front of the camera. Some have already made Coleen one of the favourites to be crowned this year’s winner. Last year, former Made In Chelsea star Sam Thompson was crowned King of the Jungle by hosts Ant and Dec, much to the delight of fans at home.
