After the indictment on Sean “Diddy” Combs last month, videos of the mogul and other celebrities are being looked at in a different light.
Diddy has denied any wrongdoings and pled not guilty in court. But even so, many people are rewatching videos and interviews about and of Diddy with an air of questioning.
In 2022, Diddy was given the Lifetime Achievement Award at the BET Awards. Kanye West introduced him with a glowing speech that now could be considered worrisome for him and his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian.
Kanye took the stage at the award show in an all grey get up including a zip-up hoodie and a baseball cap. He had a black mask on and had his eyes covered with dark sunglasses.

In his speech, he spoke about how he and his friends would play Diddy’s music growing up, and all Kanye ever wanted was to meet the music mogul. “I just need to meet this man. This is my favorite artist,” he said.
While praising Diddy, Kanye also shared that the New Yorker has been somewhat of an idol for he and his then-wife. “I go to him for advice to this day. He inspired so many of my choices. So many of my life choices. My wife choices,” he said with a laugh.
Neither Kim nor Kanye have said anything about Diddy’s arrest and allegations, and there’s nothing linking either of them to the possible crimes. No other celebrities have been linked to Diddy’s alleged wrongdoings, but lawyer Tony Buzbee – who is representing 120 people filing sexual assault lawsuits against Diddy – claims that other well-known people are involved.
In a press conference he held earlier this week, Tony said: “The day will come when we will name names other than Sean Combs, and there’s a lot of names.” He also claimed that “the names will shock you.”
