The Kardashian clan were met with harsh criticism as many agreed that they looked “tacky” and “cheap” during their apperance at the Fourth Annual Academy Museum Gala.

The famous group of reality stars attended the black-tie event held in Los Angeles at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures on Saturday night. At the gala, the legendary veteran actress Rita Moreno, Gladiator II star Paul Mescal and Pulp Fiction director Quentin Tarantino were honored and respectively given The Icon Award, The Vantage Award, and The Luminary Award.

And while the Kardashian clan including Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, and Kendall Jenner stepped out for the glamorous red carpet event, critics took to a newly posted Reddit thread bashing their latest fashion choices. Under the thread, one person wrote: “They always stand out because they have such horrible style. Just my opinion. I know they want to come across as cutting edge and fashion forward, but it’s just so tacky and always looks cheap next to everyone else. Rarely do they knock it out of the park.”

 

And another critic agreed: “God they look SO cheap.” While someone else chimed in: “They all look embarrassingly horrid. All that money and they always choose to show up with hardly any clothes on, looking like absolute utter S—.” And a fourth replied: “They don’t dress correctly for the occasion anymore, Kim looks like a Katy Perry esque in the try hard department, Kylie is trying to be zendaya cool, and Kendall is beginning her botched era.”

For the evening, Kim showed off her legs as she stepped out pantsless in a figure-hugging white corset jumpsuit paired with a matching white oversized blazer. The SKIMS founder paired the risque look with Tiffany & Co. necklace featuring a pink diamond pendant, matching rings and earrings, and clear see-through heels.

As for Kylie, the 27-year-old was seen wearing a vintage Mugler couture dress from 1998. The Kylie Cosmetics founder’s sexy look showed off ample cleavage as it featured a semi-sheer nude top and long black skirt. For the event Kylie opted for a natural glam makeup look and wore her brunette locks in loose cascading waves.

During the evening, Kendall stepped out in a black cut-out velvet Schiaparelli halter gown featuring a sparkling brooch near the neckline. The supermodel rocked her bold new hairstyle for the gala as she was seen with platinum blonde locks worn in tight short curls.
