Katie Price has made a declaration amid rumours of a split with boyfriend JJ Slater.

The former glamour model, 46, has been surrounded by rumours of trouble in paradise with Married at First Sight star JJ. They seemingly spent Christmas Day apart, with the reality star nowhere to be seen as Katie and eldest son Harvey Price spent the big day with newly-single pal Kerry Katona and her brood of children as they continued panto season.

However, representatives for Katie were quick to tell the Mirror she is very much in a relationship with JJ. Following the speculation into her relationship status, Katie shared a cryptic message which read: “I trust an 800 kilogram creature more than I trust most people,” alongside a photo of a woman kissing a horse.

Fans feared for her love life once again, yet hours later Katie made a defiant statement to her followers. The mum-of-five re-shared a post from a fan account that showed Katie loved up with JJ. It showed the loved-up couple with Katie’s son Harvey as they got ready for Christmas.

They all beamed in the snap as Harvey wore a Santa hat. The post, which was shared on the fan account, read: “Katie Harvey and jj seeing Santa. Not long now until Christmas.” It was uploaded to Instagram a week ago, yet Katie decided to re-post the photo to her own account.

She didn’t add any words to her post yet included the Brenda Lee song Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree. Katie appeared to have reshared the photo to her followers to put away any doubt on her romance with JJ. This week, Katie also showed off her present haul from her man despite spending time apart.

Sharing a plethora of snaps of her and JJ having treatments at an aesthetics and piercings salon in Cheshire, Katie also showed a bag of presents for the camera. She spent Christmas Day with pal Kerry Katona, who shared a photo of her children – Molly, Heidi, Max, Lilly-Sue, DJ – and Katie with her son Harvey, with them all in matching red pyjamas. Kerry’s caption read: “Merry Xmas from the Katona and price household,” wishing for dreams to come true, tagging @katieprice #merrychristmas and her children, alongside festive emojis.

JJ took to his own Instagram page to share a similarly Christmassy picture of himself and his loved ones in matching PJs. Katie’s two eldest children Junior and Princess enjoyed Christmas with their dad Peter Andre. The teenagers got in on a family pyjama photo as they posed with Peter, his wife and their step mum Emily, and their siblings Theo, Amelia and Arabella.

Katie recently revealed that she made the first move with her current boyfriend after learning about his type 1 diabetes diagnosis. The reality star reached out to JJ, whose real name is John Joe, on Instagram after he went public with his condition earlier this year following his stint on Married At First Sight.
