Kim Kardashian was among the celebrities who sent her best wishes to Ivanka Trump’s daughter on her celebratory day.

The 13-year-old Arabella gained attention on her birthday through a series of heartwarming photos shared by her mother and former White House advisor, Ivanka Trump. A standout moment from her birthday celebration was an iconic cake inspired by Taylor Swift’s Blank Space music video.

Ivanka, the daughter of former President Donald Trump, captured the moment with a picture of Arabella smiling beside the white, heart-shaped cake adorned with icing inscriptions that read, “Boys only want love if it’s torture”. In another post, she affectionately called her eldest child “Best cake for my favorite swiftie” and praised the cake.

Despite the reception from high-profile figures that followed Ivanka’s posts, Taylor Swift’s well-wishes were missing. Still, Kim Kardashian, long-time friend to Ivanka but feuding with Taylor since 2016, didn’t miss the opportunity to wish Arabella: “Happy Birthday Arabella”.

Also joining in was Selma Blair, the icon of Legally Blonde fame, who wrote: “Happy birthday Arabella. Much love to you.”

However, some eagle-eyed fans couldn’t overlook the amusing contradiction of the former President’s granddaughter being an ardent fan of Swift. The singer is known for her public disapproval of the Apprentice star, Donald Trump.

A surprised fan queried: “Wait a minute why is the Trump family promoting Taylor Swift when she spoke out so vehemently against Donald Trump? She literally despises him!”

In the 2020 presidential race, Taylor Swift didn’t hold back, throwing her support behind Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. That same year, she took a swing at Trump for his response to the Black Lives Matter protests, tweeting: “After stoking the fires of white supremacy and racism your entire presidency, you have the nerve to feign moral superiority before threatening violence? ‘When the looting starts the shooting starts’? ? ? We will vote you out in November.”

Taylor Swift later opened up about how her dislike for Trump’s actions pushed her to get political. Chatting with Vanity Fair in 2021, she shared: “As a country musician, I was always told it’s better to stay out of [politics]. The Trump presidency forced me to lean in and educate myself.”

Convicted felon Trump, not one to shy away from a jab, seemed to caution Taylor against backing Biden in the upcoming elections, saying it would be “disloyal to the man who made her so much money.”

In a February post on his own platform, Truth Social, Trump boasted about his role in passing the Music Modernization Act, saying: “I signed and was responsible for the Music Modernization Act for Taylor Swift and all other Musical Artists. Joe Biden didn’t do anything for Taylor, and never will.”

The former president, who is facing further legal charges, declared: “There’s no way she could endorse Crooked Joe Biden, the worst and most corrupt President in the History of our Country, and be disloyal to the man who made her so much money. Besides that, I like her boyfriend, Travis, even though he may be a Liberal, and probably can’t stand me! “.
