Kourtney Kardashian Barker defended herself after having been encouraged by one of her children to rein in a public display of affection with her husband Travis Barker.
The latest episode of the Kardashians, which was released on Thursday, showed Kourtney, 45, enjoying a holiday abroad to Australia with some of her family. She was joined by her kids Penelope, 12, Reign, nine, and newborn Rocky.
The group spent time together in Sydney on the trip whilst Kourtney’s husband Travis, 48 – who is the drummer for the rock band Blink-182 – was on tour in the country. He joined them on board a boat at one point during the episode.
The scene showed Kourtney and Travis – who got married in 2022 – embracing when reunited on the vessel. It included them sharing a kiss in front of Reign, who is the youngest of Kourtney’s three kids with her ex-partner Scott Disick, 41.
After seeing the affectionate display from his mother and step-father, Reign was heard reacting: “Mom! Stop making out with Travis, bro!” He went on to tease that they had a newborn baby, with Rocky born in November last year.

Reign further responded: “Like didn’t you just have a baby?” He then commented “Don’t get another one this quick!” Kourtney and Travis were seen laughing off his commentary in the scene, before the former defended their approach.
Sharing her thoughts in a confessional on the episode, Kourtney commented: “I think it’s a beautiful thing to see parents, especially ones that just had a new baby, y’know be affectionate and loving. There’s nothing wrong with that.”
As they continued to embrace, Reign then questioned: “Are you giving her a hickey now?” Travis stated: “No.” Kourtney herself responded: “No, it’s a gentle kiss on my neck.” Reign said: “Uh … right.” Kourtney added: “I just missed him.”

Kourtney shares her eldest three kids with her ex-partner Scott. She stated in the recent episode that the former couple’s eldest son Mason, 14, had stayed at home with his father when she went to Australia with his siblings. She said: “Mason is home with his dad, which makes me really sad, but I’m making the most of every second [on the trip abroad].”
During the recent episode, viewers saw Kourtney spending time with her children at a beach and a restaurant, among other locations, on the trip. The family were joined by Travis at an amusement park on the vacation.
Speaking about her experience, Kourtney said in a confessional following one scene: “Australia really couldn’t be more perfect so far.” She further commented when reflecting on the trip: “Like I’m so happy that I decided to come.”
