Molly-Mae Hague admits her and Tommy Fury’s MAJOR MISTAKE ‘sends shivers down her SPINE’

Newly single Molly-Mae Hague has said one of the mistakes she and Tommy Fury made when their daughter Bambi was born ‘sends shivers down her spine’.

The former Love Island star, 25, admits she “had no idea” about parenting prior to giving birth to baby Bambi, one, and shares that she and then-partner Tommy Fury “were having a breakdown” in the first few weeks following their daughter’s birth in January 2023.

Molly-Mae, who recently launched her own fashion line, is currently raising Bambi as a single mother after ending her engagement to boxer Tommy in August, five years on from first meeting in the Love Island villa. Tommy recently revealed he is determined to win back his former fiancée’s trust back and reunite their family.

Speaking in a new YouTube blog, Molly-Mae didn’t mention her relationship or dating but instead focused on all things Bambi – including a “disaster” nursery stint. In the new video, Molly-Mae is joined by her big sister Zoe for a catch up while cruising in a car during a Q&A session.

Molly-Mae admitted to fans that before becoming a mother to Bambi, her experiences around little ones was very limited. “The only child I had held was Bobby, which is Fran’s son, that’s the only child I’d been around, I really had no idea,” she confessed. “Those first few weeks of Bambi’s life… hell and back. We were having a breakdown.”

Almost two years on from giving birth to Bambi, Molly-Mae is now a natural. In her latest YouTube vlog she went on to give fans the lowdown on little Bambi’s bumpy start at nursery. She revealed: “Bambi started nursery. She had her first day, 9:30am until 3pm the other day.”

“She had three taster sessions, two that were one hour long and one that was two hours long, and the two hour session was a bit of a disaster to be honest with you. When I picked her up she was severely upset, I’d never seen her cry like that before. Something wasn’t sitting right with me. It didn’t feel right. I don’t have to put Bambi in nursery for childcare purposes, I can have her at home with me, that’s not an issue. It was more for her benefit that I wanted to send her. That’s what we did wrong. We did it all together.”

Molly-Mae, who rose to fame on the 2019 series of Love Island, then revealed that her little one has developed a challenging behaviour issue. She confessed: “She did start to hit. My best friend Taylor, her child Story is a similar age to Bambi and Bambi did start to hit Story. That came out of nowhere and I thought, ‘that’s not good’. And I think nursery will help with that.”

Bambi’s aunt Zoe chipped in with: “Amy Hart, when she had her baby, Stanley, they really split it, so he would do the night shift, she would do the day shift, and I do think sleep is the way forward. So if you’ve got help and got your partner there with you, rather than doing it all together.”

“Now I look back, it sends shivers down my spine, I had no idea what I was doing,” Molly then admitted as she shared the mistake she and Tommy made, as well as the one she and Zoe made when raising Bambi in the early days, adding: “That’s what we did wrong. We did it all together. You have to get your sleep.”
