Good Morning Britain viewers blasted ‘awful, sneering’ hosts Adil Ray and Kate Garraway on Friday.

The hosts kicked off the show with the headlines of the day and discussed whether fireworks should be banned before interviewing former MP Nadine Dorries.

However, fans were left unimpressed by Adil, 50, and Kate, 57, as they claimed the presenting team were unbearable to watch and quickly switched off.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one fan fumed: ‘#gmb Can not take any more this rubbish morning tv… YouTube fire place with crackle sounds now thats the way to start the day. I am smiling and relaxing again.’

‘Got that Friday feeling. Turn on and see Adil and Alex. Turning over as want to keep that Friday feeling.#GMB.’; ‘Friday’s presenting team are awful. The bigot, the pushy and the weather whinger. I’ll give it a miss. #GMB.’

‘Adil Ray? No thanks. That inane sneer is too much at this hour of the day.’

However, not all fans of the show were unhappy. As one fan who was seemingly excited by the presenting lineup wrote: ‘Oh ye he is on, Adil is back.’

Elsewhere on the show TV show host Ranvir Singh, 47, joked that Adil had terrible breath and smelled, leaving him lost for words.

The comedian, who appeared shocked by Ranvir’s bold statement, then jokingly pretended to ring up his lawyer.

It comes after viewers slammed hosts Ed Balls, 57, and Kate, as they accused them of not letting guests talk.

The two presenters took the reigns of the ITV show on Tuesday to probe Conservative leadership candidate Robert Jenrick.

But as they challenged the MP over the failed Rwanda plan, fans at home complained that they were talking over him too much.

While others continued to voice their disapproval of Ed helming political interviews, as a former MP and husband of current Home Secretary Yvette Cooper.

Taking to social media to vent their anger, they wrote: ‘Seriously what is @GMB is a current News show. Just think all the presenters are unprofessional they aren’t neutral when reporting stories.’

‘See Ed Balls is stopping @RobertJenrick from giving his answers without speaking over him constantly. He could’ve even get his point across. Surprise surprise’.

‘It might have been a decent conversation if you let people speak and finish their reply; She won’t let him get a word in edge ways!!!’

‘I’m afraid @GMB is not fit for purpose. How can they discuss the position of Yvette Cooper with balance and impartiality… when her husband is a presenter?’

‘Why are GMB presenters all so annoying? They all just waste entire interviews by butting in constantly and repeating themselves. By the time the interview is done no questions have been answered and the viewers are just exhausted. Someone teach them how conversations work’.

‘@edballs if you want to interview people learn to give them the grace to answer instead of constantly butting in and talking over them.’

‘It would be nice if the presenters would shut up for one second and allow guests to speak instead of talking over them when they don’t like the answer!!!’

‘With due respect could Ed Balls please let guests speak; Sorry but hubby of Home Sec should not be discussing this #gmb’.

‘#gmb awful, these 2 presenters trying to get the most airtime, constantly talking over each other and the guests..’

While others praised Kate and Ed for not allowing the politician to avoid their probing questions, with one saying: ‘Jenrick tied up in knots. Excellent interviewing from @edballs and #GMB’
