Ray J is convinced that “everything would be different” if the s3x tap3 between him and Kim Kardashian wasn’t leaked.

The ex-couple’s video came out in Oct. 2003 and started a media blitz. At the time, scenes like that were totally scandalous whereas, in today’s world, homemade pornography is more commonplace. Platforms such as OnlyFans are slowly upending established sites like Pornhub and Ray is taking all the credit.

Speaking on Club Shay Shay podcast with Shannon Sharpe, Ray said: “Probably more people would be going to college… there might not be any OnlyFans and other things like that. Are we a part of the cure or are we a part of the disease? I don’t f*****g know. I’m just trying to make it right.”

In retrospect, Ray isn’t quite proud of what is out there. In fact, he admitted that he’s a bit “embarrassed” now that he’s a grown adult and father. He explained: “Everything that we did, now that I have kids, is totally different. The whole thing is wacky. Without me going too far into it, without me getting in trouble… No, it’s not okay now.”

Where the mysterious s3x tap3 was leaked from has long been a topic of conspiracy and conversation. Many fans assumed that Kris Jenner leaked her daughter’s own tape as a power play in the world of fame. Ray later confirmed their suspicions. In 2022, he admitted that Kris handpicked which video was sent out.

While Kris did the selection, Kim did the dirty work, according to Ray. He told the DailyMail that it was “released like an album” to the general public after she dug it up from a hiding spot, a Nike box under her bed. Kris denied any involvement in the major move and even passed a polygraph test on the situation, but she surely felt the effects and swift financial gain.

Years later, both Kim and Ray have moved on with their lives. Kim married Kanye West and, together, they had four children before a very messy divorce ensued. As for Ray, he had two kids before also splitting from his partner, Princess Love.
