Rebekah Vardy is set to closely watch this year’s I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here – and so are her lawyers, according to reports.

The WAG was embroiled in a bitter legal row with former pal Coleen Rooney. Recently, she was ordered to pay a further £100,000 following their high-profile Wagatha Christie libel battle ahead of the full amount owed being decided.

Now, with Coleen set to enter the jungle in the coming weeks, Rebekah’s legal team are said to be on high alert to what Coleen will potentially say to her campmates.

Coleen is reportedly set to join the likes of boxing legend Barry McGuigan and former Love Island star Maura Higgins in this year’s camp. Her appearance comes seven years after Rebekah’s appearance on the show and has been described as her “ultimate revenge”.

While some claim Rebekah won’t be watching, another expert has told MailOnline she will likely be “glued” to the hit ITV show along with her legal team. Brand and culture expert Nick Ede claimed Rebekah would be willing to launch a new lawsuit if any of Coleen’s comments could potentially defame her.

Ede said: “100% Rebekah will not be happy that Coleen is going on the show. She will be keeping her eyes and ears glued to the screen in case she can garner any nuggets from Coleen that could potentially defame her. Rebekah famously went in the jungle herself and for Coleen to be following in her footsteps will add insult to injury.”

He added: “Coleen is a very private person so for her to agree to this will and to appear on the jungle producers will be wanting her to spill more beans about the Wagatha Christie case.”

However, Ede said that Coleen will be “careful” and is likely to rehearse what she plans to say as she will be fully aware of any incoming interrogation from campmates.

Coleen’s appearance is said to due to her unquenchable ruthless streak. Sources close to her say Coleen couldn’t pass up the opportunity to wind up her biggest rival in front of an audience of millions. “She has got a mischievous side to her,” an insider told the Mail. “While she has been dignified with how she dealt with being dragged through a court by Becky, it is bound to come up and Coleen has always been honest about the situation.”

Last year, former Made In Chelsea star Sam Thompson was crowned King of the Jungle by hosts Ant and Dec, much to the delight of fans at home. This year, McFly star Danny Jones is the early favourite to take home the title.
