This Morning fans have been left convinced Ben Shephard is entering the I’m A Celeb jungle later this month.

The presenter, 49, shocked fans after her revealed at the end of Thursday’s programme that he will be taking a break from hosting the daytime show with Cat Deeley for a few weeks.

Refusing to give away any details he told viewers: ‘I am taking a few weeks away to take some time to do a project for ITV.

‘I can neither confirm or deny where I am going.’

With Ben’s disappearance lining up with perfect timing of the upcoming series of I’m A Celeb, Cat teased: ‘Are you going to be eating widgery grubs?’

Continuing to push she asked: ‘Are you going to be hanging out with my two mates?’ as she referred to Ant and Dec.

Remaining tight lipped, Ben insisted: ‘I can’t say. When you are here on Monday with Alison I will be able to reveal where I am in the world. See you in a few weeks.’

And fans are convinced he is off to the jungle as they took to Twitter to share their suspicions.

They penned: ‘Mmmm… has @benshephard just hinted he is going into the #Jungle’; ‘Ben Shephard on I’m a Celebrity? Nah he wouldn’t tell us that easy’;

‘I hope @benshephard IS on #ImACeleb @antanddec My daughter and I love him. I hope it is not all a facade! #thismorning @catdeeley’.

MailOnline have contacted Ben’s representatives and ITV for comment.

It comes after the full lineup for I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! was reportedly been revealed, over two weeks before the new series is set to hit screens.

The ITV1 jungle reality show will return to screens on Sunday November 17 and insiders have promised the stars who have signed on to star in it this time round will make for ‘compulsive viewing’ for fans.

Following months of speculation, Coleen Rooney and Maura Higgins will be heading Down Under for the new series later this month, alongside longtime soap star Alan Halsall and legendary sportsman Barry McGuigan.

Rounding out the lineup are Strictly Come Dancing pro Oti Mabuse, Loose Women star Jane Moore, DJ Dean McCullough, Tulisa, radio presenter Melvin Odoom, Reverend Richard Coles and podcast presenter GK Barry.

Stripped of luxuries and creature comforts, stars will have face a string of Bushtucker Trials in a bid to win food for the camp, and only one will leave as the King Or Queen of the Jungle.

Tulisa was seen earlier this week enjoying a pampering session on Monday as she headed to the nail salon ahead of her upcoming appearance on I’m A Celebrity.

The N-Dubz singer, 36, is reportedly heading down under and was seen preparing for the camping experience as she got her nails done for the final time at Skylar Nails in Alderly Edge.

After relaunching her career by reuniting with N-Dubz last year, singer Tulisa was courted by I’m A Celebrity bosses to take part, after being approached several times in the past.

A source told The Sun that after finding a whole new audience on N-Dubz’s reunion tour, Tulisa is hoping to relaunch her TV career, a decade after leaving The X Factor judging panel.

An insider said: ‘This year is a decade since she left The X Factor so she felt the time was right to return to the TV spotlight — the amazing reception to the N-Dubz reunion tour really helped build her confidence.

‘Crucially for ITV, the breadth of her career means that she will appeal to I’m a Celebrity’s wide audience.

‘As well as everyone knowing her from The X Factor, her original music fanbase has boomed thanks to the N-Dubz reunion tour.

‘TV bosses are particularly excited by the new wealth of fans in the crucial 16 to 24 age range who have discovered Tulisa and the band through TikTok and everyone hopes the deal is signed soon.’
