Ruth Langsford is reportedly ‘partying through the pain’ after her split from her husband Eamonn Holmes. 

The Loose Women presenter, 64, split from the broadcaster, also 64, in May after 14 years of marriage, with Eamonn seen packing on the PDA with his new girlfriend Katie Alexander, 42, in Ibiza last week.

Ruth has been seen letting loose on nights out with her pals Lizzie Cundy and Rylan, with the group drinking prosecco and cocktails.

Now a source has claimed she has been focusing on ‘things that make her happy’ and leaning on her friends as she navigates her divorce.

They told OK! Magazine: ‘Ruth is pretty shocked at Eamonn’s behaviour and how he’s moved on so fast, it’s quite devastating.’

The source added: ‘She’s just trying to get on with life and be around good friends, she’s partying through the pain and is trying to get through it.

‘Ruth is distracting herself and doing things that make her happy – keeping busy and being around friends, family and work is the only way she can get through it.’

MailOnline has contacted Ruth’s representatives for comment.Eamonn arrived back in the UK on Sunday with his girlfriend Katie, after the couple spent the last week on a luxury romantic cruise together.

The GB News presenter and the relationship counsellor weren’t shy about showing off their new romance, with the pair spotted engaging in PDA during the trip.

On Friday evening, the broadcaster was even seen cheekily grabbing her bottom as they headed on a night out in Ibiza.

The getaway reportedly left Ruth shocked, with the holiday occurring just four months after the former golden couple announced they were divorcing after 14 years of marriage.

Ms Costley is known for her fierce approach to divorce settlements and has said all women should have a ‘go bag’ fund when exiting a relationship, according to The Sun.

The divorce lawyer was once an apprentice of ‘Steel Magnolia’ Baroness Fiona Shackleton, Britain’s highest-profile divorce lawyer who famously represented Charles in his split from Diana in 1996.

Baronness Shackleton has also worked with A-list stars including Paul McCartney, Liam Gallagher and Madonna, and was once doused with water in court by a furious Heather Mills while representing the Beatles legend during the couple’s divorce in 2008.

Ruth’s team declined to comment when contacted by MailOnline.
