Kim Kardashian has opened up about the harsh comments her children make about her as she confessed parenting can be challenging at times.

The 43-year-old reality star shares four children with her ex-husband Kanye West – North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm West – and admitted that her kids frequently label her “embarrassing”. In the latest episode of The Kardashians, Kim was on a high after attending her successful Swarovski x SKIMS event.

However, she wasn’t looking forward to going home where her kids were waiting to dish out some insults. Speaking to the cameras, Kim explained: “I mean, I am on cloud nine. This night has been amazing.”

“But I’m honestly just looking forward to getting home to my kids ’cause they’re at home waiting to shame me for being the most embarrassing mom.” Kim further explained how her kids are often left “cringing” by her behaviour.

After being named GQ’s Man of the Year, Kim said she was “glad that I have a little bit of clout”. She explained: “At home, like, I’ve turned into the embarrassing mom, the cringey mom.”

The show then cut to a clip of Kim’s son Saint playing in the corner of the room. She asked: “Do you think I’m a cool mom or am I a cringey mom? ” Saint had a cheeky reply as he whispered: “Cringey.”

Kim also revealed an awkward blunder she had in front of her children. She elaborated: “My kids, they say ‘gyat’ and ‘gyat’ means a big butt. I got it off TikTok and it made you feel so old when you don’t know what the slang words are. So I was like, ‘Guys, we’re late we’ve gyat to go and they were like, ‘Mom you’re so embarrassing!”

She phoned her daughter North so they could relive the hilarious moment together, but North wasn’t amused. She retorted: “First you’re so cringey because you’re saying those words,” before abruptly hanging up.

Elsewhere in the episode, Kim vented her frustrations about her children’s indifference during a conversation with her mum, Kris Jenner. When Kris asked how Kim spent her birthday with the kids, Kim said: “I was stuck doing everything that everyone else wanted to do.

“I was stuck watching YouTube unboxing videos on my birthday, I had a FIFA tournament, Colour Me Mine. You should see the ugly thing I made. Like, this is not what I wanted to be doing on my birthday. I need to sit my kids down and be like, ‘This isn’t Mother’s Day. Like, this is my day’.”

She described the day as “torture” before Kris confessed she “would die” if forced to participate in any of those activities. A producer quizzed Kim about her idea of an ideal birthday during a confessional.

She said: “To lock my door, not get out of my bed and eat cookies and cream ice cream all day long. That’s what would have been my dream. But no, no one cares about my dreams, not my four kids.”
