BBC bosses previously confirmed Zoe would be back in the hot seat on Monday morning.

And now the 53-year-old has taken to social media as she thanked Scott Mills for standing in for her.

Zoe said: “Back to breakfast tomorrow morning 6.30.”

She added: “@realscottmills 7 @djspoony thanks for putting in the mega shifts.”

The mum-of-one’s return will mark her first show on the Beeb since disappearing on August 8.

When Scott suddenly replaced Zoe last month, he told fans: “If you’ve just put us on this morning, it’s Scott Mills in for Zoe for the next few weeks.

“I’m sending you all my love Zo as are the team.”

A Beeb insider recently spoke about Zoe’s highly anticipated return to the studio.

They told The Sunday Mirror: “Zoe’s been through a lot lately but she’s battled through and is keen to get back to work.

“Scott’s done a great job but the team are looking forward to welcoming Zoe back.”

Zoe, who is one of the highest paid presenters at the BBC, has had a difficult year.

In May she heartbreakingly revealed her mother Julia had died from pancreatic cancer, having been diagnosed only 12 weeks previous.

It was also recently revealed the star has sold her rural Sussex pad – complete with a swimming pool and tennis courts – for the more “lively” surroundings of Brighton and Hove.
