Big Brother’s first twist of the new series caused chaos while also delighting viewers as the show returned on Sunday.
As the 16 housemates entered they were given they were given the option to stand on either the red or blue carpet, which were divided by a velvet rope.
Each time someone new would arrive the teams would try their best to temp them to join their colour, before the final headcount saw eleven housemates on blue on just five red.
However in a shocking twist Big Brother announced that one side would be housemates while the others would be ‘non-housemates’ and be ‘sent off to storage’.
It was then dramatically revealed that the blue side of eleven were the non-housemates and not only would not allowed to stay in the plush Big Brother house but would all be up for eviction.
