This comes after Kim’s daughter, North West, landed a role in The Lion King alongside Jennifer Hudson. The 10-year-old prodigy is gearing up to drop her debut album, Elementary School Dropout, and is swiftly climbing the ladder to musical stardom. And now, she’s really hit the jackpot – she’s been snapped up for a glittering role in Disney’s The Lion King 30th Anniversary A Live-to-Film Concert Event. This spectacular outdoor event, spanning two nights, will see a fusion of talent from the original movie, the 2019 reboot, and Broadway legends.

The Mirror US shared that North’s participation was confirmed on Wednesday via a press release. She’ll be sharing the stage with Tony-award winner Heather Headley, GRAMMY-winning Lebo M, Academy-Award winner Jennifer Hudson, Billy Eichner, Bradley Gibson and Ernie Sabella, among others.

While it’s still under wraps which character North will embody, she’s set to dazzle audiences on May 24 and 25. Additionally, this unique performance will reach global audiences through Disney Plus in ‘The Lion King at the Hollywood Bowl’, with a television debut planned for later on.

“Fans will experience life in the Pride Lands as a full orchestra performs Hans Zimmer’s rousing Oscar-winning musical score led by conductor Sarah Hicks,” teased the press release, promising “immersive live performances of the beloved songs”.
