Katie Price tried to seduce Declan Donnelly following her stint on I’m A Celebrity -according to his best friend Ant McPartlin. 

Dec was apparently approached by former glamour model after her first stint in the jungle and according to Ant, the media personality only had eyes for his co-star.

According to The Mirror Ant wrote in his and Dec’s joint autobiography, Ooh! What A Lovely Pair in 2009, that the model, who went by Jordan at the time, tried to corner the presenter at a wrap party following that year’s series.

He revealed that her mother, Amy, even tried to play cupid between the two and despite the pair’s persistence, Dec politely declined.

Ant wrote: ‘He managed to avoid her all night, but her mum did corner him a couple of times and try to set him up with her. He wasn’t having any of it.’

The model first headed down under in 2004 and was dating millionaire Scott Sullivan but the pair’s relationship broke down while Katie was away.

The media personality then went on to strike up a romance with fellow jungle campmate Peter Andre but before they went public, Katie seemingly tried to squeeze in a quick fling with the show’s presenter.

Ant also revealed in the pair’s book that he remembers taking shots with Kerry Katona while Katie tried to make a move on his co-star.

He said: ‘The other thing I remember from that party is doing shots with Kerry, and Jordan [Katie’s glamour model alter-ego] chasing after Dec, who she had propositioned during her departure interview,’ Ant recalled when writing about that year’s wrap party in his and Dec’s autobiography Ooh! What A Lovely Pair in 2009.

Dec at the time had split from childhood sweetheart Clare Buckfield while Katie and singer Pete were inseparable following their time on the reality show.

The pair’s whirlwind romance led to marriage the following year at Highclere Castle in Hampshire and two children.

The couple welcomed Junior Andre, 18, and Princess Andre, 17, before they split in 2009 and divorced shortly afterwards.

Discussing his two eldest children on This morning last year, Pete told presenter Alison Hammond: ‘They’re the only jungle babies. They’re the only ones to be born from the show I believe.’

The ladies were pictured passionately kissing at the event on Thursday and Jessica has lifted the lid on what went down between them.

Jessica told MailOnline: ‘Katie always gives me relationship advice, from when I was dating my ex Dalton [Phillips], for example, I told her he was no good for me and she said “Jessica, I knew he wasn’t the man for you, but I didn’t want to tell you.

‘”I knew that he was a big red flag from plain old experience. But I saw that you were so happy that I didn’t want to burst that bubble. But also you deserve to have experiences in life which will make you a better person, that’s what life is about”.
