IN a poignant video shared on 9th September, Princess Kate revealed she’s finished chemotherapy and is now focusing on being “cancer free”.

In the heart-warming clip the royal, 42, said she was “so grateful” for the support she has received after she first announced she had an unspecified cancer in March.

The video offers an intimate look at the Wales‘, with clips of George, 11, Charlotte, 9, and Louis, 6, playing games in the woods with their parents, the Prince and Princess of Wales.

But according to royal commentator Victoria Arbiter, there’s a hidden meaning behind part of the video.

It turns out the royal couple announced they were expecting their second child, Charlotte, a decade a go to the day they shared the video.

She wrote on X, formally Twitter: “For the royal history and factoid geeks – of which I am one – William and Kate announced they were expecting their second baby 10 years ago yesterday.”

This could mean some of the wholesome clips, like Kate walking hand in hand with her only daughter, could be a nod to the anniversary of the announcement.

She said: “As the summer comes to an end, I cannot tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment.

“The last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family. Life as you know it can change in an instant and we have had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and road unknown.

“The cancer journey is complex, scary and unpredictable for everyone, especially those closest to you.

“With humility, it also brings you face to face with your own vulnerabilities in a way you have never considered before, and with that, a new perspective on everything.

“This time has above all reminded William and me to reflect and be grateful for the simple yet important things in life, which so many of us often take for granted. Of simply loving and being loved.”

In 40 years of covering the royal family I have never seen anything like Catherine’s video
Kate also told how “doing what I can to stay cancer free” was now her focus as she revealed the road to recovery is still long.

But she said she was “looking forward” to being back at work and taking on a few more public engagements in the coming months.

How Princess Charlotte has already changed history

After the birth of Prince Louis, Princess Charlotte became the first female royal to retain her claim to the throne, despite the having a younger brother.

Before the Succession to the Crown Act 2013 the birth of a son meant he would leap over any older daughters in the line of succession.

Therefore Princess Anne, despite being the Queen’s second child, was in the line of succession beneath her younger brothers Andrew and Edward.

Princess Charlotte is the first royal not ruled out by gender, meaning that Prince Louis will be the fifth-in-line to the throne.

Charlotte has reportedly already earned herself a fun nickname amongst pals.

When it comes to her pals, Charlotte has yet another secret name.

The only daughter of William and Kate was nicknamed ‘Warrior Princess’ at nursery, due to her ‘feisty’ personality, Katie Nicholl previously claimed.

Katie told Entertainment Tonight: “The other nickname that she had when she was at Willcocks Nursery, which was up until just before the summer, was Warrior Princess.

“I’m wondering if that might be a nickname that will stick with her. Apparently she earned that nickname because obviously she is a Princess, but she’s quite a tomboy.

“She loves climbing trees and she’s very much an adventurer, she was quite known for her feisty personality.”

Princess Charlotte picked up the moniker while she attended Willcocks Nursery before moving on to Lambrook School.

It’s time to show Kate more respect, blasts Sun’s Royal Editor

THE Sun’s Royal Editor Matt Wilkinson says it’s time cruel trolls lay off Kate as he gives his insight into her shock cancer diagnosis.

It is sometimes hard to remember and understand that this is a family and they are going through very tough experiences at the moment.

I find it very interesting that she does speak about how they’ve taken time, they’ve needed time, to process this information and also tell their three children George, Charlotte and Louis, which would be an incredibly difficult conversation.

A lot of people who have poked fun at Kate purely to gain hits online, such as Kim Kardashian, need to have a hard look at themselves and apologise for their behaviour.

People have been asking where’s Kate? Well, she’s been coping with this cancer diagnosis and having to tell her young family.

Much of the abuse has also come from so-called ‘Sussex Squad’ members on Twitter who are fans of Harry and Meghan. This has been a shameful episode and people should show the Princess of Wales more respect.

We know the Princess of Wales went into hospital for abdominal surgery in January. That surgery was successful and it was non-cancerous. However, subsequent tests have found cancer and at the end of February she embarked on the start of preventative chemotherapy.

They’ve taken time to process this and Kate has announced this to the world today.

They’ve chosen today because it is the last day of school for George, Charlotte and Louis and it means that they can now huddle together as a family for the next couple of weeks away from all the drama and really come together and deal with this cancer diagnosis.

A cancer diagnosis that Kate has said she has found shocking, but it’s also a cancer diagnosis that many people around the world will listen to and will have sympathy for and empathy for because there are many families that are also going through this kind of situation and having to break the news to their children, as in this case.

Kate has been living her life in the spotlight for many, many years and there has been some very nasty stuff posted online. Lots of bullying, we would suggest, about Kate and about why she has been missing for the last couple of weeks.

We understand that wasn’t a motivation for her coming out today to make the statement but it’s obviously something that has dominated the front pages and dominated social media online. Questions about what has happened to Kate. Now she has answered it and said that while everyone has been discussing where she is, that actually she has been coping with the diagnosis of cancer and digesting this with her family.

She has told the rest of the Royal Family. The King – who also has his own diagnosis of cancer and is also undergoing treatment – has been made aware. The Royal Family will be circling the wagons.

I think she will be getting a huge amount of support from family and friends and she has spoken about how William, obviously, has shown her so much support.

They will now be off for a couple of weeks with the three children for Easter. William will return after the Easter holidays. And The Princess of Wales may well return.

She says she is full of hope, she says that she hopes that she will get better, she’s told the kids that she will be OK.

So we may see The Princess of Wales in coming months attending engagements but we really do need to give her time as she has asked to see how the preventative chemotherapy gets on.
