Coleen Nolan reveals she has officially cut ties with all her fellow Loose Women colleagues: ‘I hate them.’

An anniversary tribute about Loose Women that was posted by panelist Coleen Nolan was followed-up by a “clarification” about her thoughts on her co-stars.

Coleen, 59, took to Instagram on Friday night to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the ITV show, which began in 1999. She shared a compilation video with fans, which included various clips from her more than two decades as a panelist.

She wrote in the caption: “25 years of @loosewomen (24 for me) of so much fun, laughters and also at times tears. Thank you Loose Women for being such a major part of my life, and to all you wonderful viewers thank you for your loyalty and support. Here’s to the next 25! Love you all.”

The montage featured various clips of Coleen on the show, with co-stars Ruth Langsford, Brenda Edwards and Janet Street-Porter featuring prominently. Former colleagues Saira Khan and Sherrie Hewson were prominent in it too.

Other current panelists such as Nadia Sawalha, Denise Welch, Kaye Adams and Jane Moore appeared on several occasions in the video. Whilst the likes of Stacey Solomon and Christine Lampard made cameos in the compilation.

Not all of Coleen’s colleagues from the long-running show’s history seemed to appear in the montage, with some co-stars seemingly absent. Additionally, a number of former panelists made only brief appearances. Andrea McLean – who worked on Loose Women for more than a decade – only briefly appeared in the video. Whilst Carol McGiffin – who was one of the longest serving panelists – appeared in a few clips. There were brief appearances by the likes of Jamelia, Kate Thornton and Jackie Brambles.

One viewer took to the comments section of the post to share their observations and question the distribution of scenes in the montage. They wrote: “Only saw one photo of Carol McGiffin. There was nothing about Jackie Brambles, Kate Thornton and Terri Dwyer.”

Coleen liked the comment and responded, explaining that the video featured a “handful of highlights”. She also shared her love for all of her former colleagues. She wrote: “There have been dozens of Loose Women over the years … just a handful of highlights. Love to all the ladies, past and present.”

Coleen later issued a clarification to her followers, writing in a pinned comment: “Just for clarification, I’ve collated some highlights to celebrate 25 years of LW. It would have been impossible to feature every single panellist past & present in the reel, nothing but love for all the ladies.”

Other fans were however impressed by the video, with one writing: “What an absolutely wonderful montage of memories. Loose Women most definitely deserves a lot more recognition than it gets.” Another said: “Fabulous montage. Brilliant memories.”

Sharing their thoughts, one viewer wrote in the comments section this week: “It’s so lovely to see so many of you still there and flying the flag. The world has changed so much in 25 years and you have all been there to discuss it.”
