Some boxing fans reckon Anthony Joshua’s knockout victory over Francis Ngannou this weekend was rigged.
The British heavyweight thrust himself back into the spotlight with an impressive win over the former UFC star, who got exposed as his lack of boxing experience was quickly punished by the polished Joshua.
The bout lasted just two rounds and was a one-sided affair as Joshua knocked Ngannou down three times, ultimately rendering him unconscious.

An impressive power punch, that. Yet there are folks who believe Ngannou threw the fight because of the way his leg folded underneath him, with some pointing out that it wasn’t natural for someone who didn’t have their faculties about them.

Of course, the fans crying “rigged” were among the minority as many others have called them out over the claim.
