Zara McDermott breaks relationship ‘rule’ days after Sam Thompson leaves for I’m A Celeb and pleads ‘don’t be mad’
The popular couple are 10,000 miles apart for over a month while Sam films I’m A Celeb’s sister show
SAM Thompson may have only been away for a few days but girlfriend Zara McDermott has already broken one of their relationship ‘rules’.
Sam, 32, left for Australia to host I’m A Celebrity‘s relaunched spin-off show for when the series returns this Sunday.

The 2023 I’m A Celeb winner boarded his flight solo as Zara stayed at home with their two cats – telling fans she was too busy with work to join him.
Sharing a throwback snap of them together after a phone call Down Under, Zara wrote: “I miss you bestie. Love you.
“PS Don’t be mad but I’ve watched the latest Made in Chelsea episode without you.”
Zara was bombarded with questions from fans about why she didn’t go to Australia with Sam.
The 27-year-old explained: “You guys are funny. I’ve had this question so many times! Well firstly I’m filming my documentary about stalking at the moment and it’s really not possible to take time off filming at short notice.”
Zara also said the time difference and working hours would make it tricky.
She added: “Let’s see, if he ends up going back next year for another season then I’ll defo go out there if I can.
“Also though, I think it’s funny how people assume just because Sam is working away, I automatically should go.
“Love you guys but I also have a job too.”
Sam landed the presenting job with the sister show, Unpacked, with Joel Dommett and Kemi Rodgers after winning I’m A Celeb last year.

This year’s bunch of celebs have already started filming – with a terrifying parachute jump over Byron Bay, New South Wales.
McFly singer Danny, 38, was one of five stars who made the leap from a helicopter on the Australian coast as filming got underway.
He was earlier seen racing towards choppers with Sun columnist Jane Moore, N-Dubz singer Tulisa Contostavlos, ex-Strictly dancer Oti Mabuse and BBC Radio 1 DJ Dean McCullough.
