Kim Kardashian is gearing up for ex-husband Kanye West to reveal his truth in his upcoming Netflix documentary In Whose Name?, a source told In Touch.

“Kanye’s relationship with Kim and her family is not good, and while she tries to keep the peace with him, they’ve had arguments over the phone that could end up being used in the doc,” the source revealed to the news outlet. “And he doesn’t care about being popular or liked or politically correct.” The hip-hop icon has been developing the documentary for six years now, and his ex family is worried about what will be captured in the production. In Whose Name? creatively tells the story of Kanye’s public transformation.

“With a billion-dollar budget and a commitment to truth, Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, invites 18-year-old Nicolas Ballesteros armed with an iPhone on a six-year journey revealing unfiltered aspects of celebrity life which confront the provocative opinions, grand visions and bold contrarianism that defined him as the world’s most controversial artist,” the doc synopsis reads, per In Touch.

“The film follows Ye’s ascent to becoming the richest Black man in American history while uncovering why the superstar risked everything he had built in the name of freedom. Examining the culture that birthed the star, ‘In Whose Name?’ explores the overlapping influences of corporate exploitation, racial complexities and psychological struggles inherent in the American dream,” the synopsis adds.

Kanye’s new project is reportedly going to be released sometime in 2025. There most likely will be much drama that is addressed since in recent years he’s garnered much attention for his often offensive remarks online and in interviews. Not to mention his explosive divorce from his reality star ex-wife Kim Kardashian, who he shares children North, Saint Chicago, and Psalm with.

Late last month a source told In Touch that the Chicago native was mulling over creating a reality show about his life, similar to his ex-wife’s family show The Kardashians since he has “thousands and thousands of hours of footage” racked up over the years.

“He could get the kids involved, which, of course, would be Kim’s worst nightmare,” the source divulged to In Touch, “but there’s not much she can do about it. They appear on her show, so she can’t use that argument, and they akimdore their dad, so odds are they’re going to want to be on his show.”
