Liam Payne tragically passed away on Wednesday after a fall from the third floor of his hotel in Argentina at the age of 31.
TMZ faced backlash for briefly publishing and then removing images of the One Direction star’s deceased body, sparking outrage among fans when the pictures appeared online.
“Absolutely grim era in journalism where editors suddenly think it’s okay to post photos of a person’s dead body in an article. Celebrity or not, Liam Payne has a 7-year-old son who will likely stumble across that at some point. Awful,” someone expressed on the internet.

“Can you guys PLEASE NOT SHARE THE PICTURES OF LIAM’S BODY? ARE YOU GUYS OK? ” another implored desperately.
A concerned fan added their voice: “Ok to everyone making jokes about Liam’s death you are just as horrible as the tabloids trying to make a quick buck by posting his deceased body. wtf is wrong with you?”.
According to TMZ, the musician’s body was discovered on his hotel balcony, surrounded by tables and chairs, with his distinctive tattoos clearly visible.
Eyewitnesses informed the media that Liam was behaving in an erratic manner prior to his death, even going as far as smashing his laptop. It’s reported that he was carried from the hotel back to his room.
