Cardi B has admitted she didn’t know she was pregnant when undergoing major surgery earlier this year – as she continues to try and reverse the illegal $800 butt injections she got from a basement in Queens in back 2018.
The rapper, 31 — who welcomed her baby last month — revealed that she had undergone removal procedures for her butt injections and fibrosis while she was unknowingly expecting her third child in January.
‘In January, right after I shot (music video) “Like What”, I went and got surgery,’ she told fans Monday on Instagram Live.
Cardi — real name Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar — explained she had taken multiple pregnancy tests and blood tests prior to the procedures, which came back negative, but after suspecting she was with child, her OBGYN confirmed she was actually 17 weeks along.
‘I got some more butt injections removed. Because, you know, it takes rounds to get your butt injections removed. And I also went to fix, like, you know, certain things [with] my fibrosis…’

In December 2022, Cardi admitted her regret over an ‘illegal’ procedure and revealed that 95% of her silicone injections had been removed.
She previously told GQ she got the filler injections in a Queens apartment basement in 2014 for $800, calling it ‘the craziest pain ever.’
Cardi also advised her young female fans to stay away from getting BBL surgery.
‘In March… l woke up one morning and my mouth tasted like copper. It literally tasted like copper. And I was like “Oh my gosh.” This only happened to me when I’m pregnant.’
The Bodak Yellow star concluded she ‘automatically knew’ she was pregnant despite receiving two negative pregnancy blood tests.
At the time, Cardi thought she was only around six or seven weeks along but her OBGYN in New York revealed she was nearly 17 weeks pregnant.
Surprised by the news, Cardi admitted she had only been intimate with estranged husband Offset once so far this year — on Valentine’s Day.

The New York native said: ‘Me and my baby dad [Offset] we were in very bad terms, I still called him too. I was like “Hey, I’m pregnant” and we kind of laughed about it because it’s like “what the f**k that sh*t is so random”.
After seeing her little one during an ultrasound she was struck with emotion at becoming a mother again.
She said: ‘When I look [at the ultrasound], it was a whole baby. It’s not like a little bean, type of sh*t. It was a big a** baby
‘But I ain’t gonna lie to you, when I saw that sonogram and I saw that it’s like a full baby, I saw 10 toes and 10 fingers, I got real, real, real, real emotional right away.’
