Ruth Langsford shocks Loose Women audience with dig at Coleen Nolan

RUTH Langsford left the Loose Women audience gasping as she made a sly dig at Coleen Nolan.

It came as the panellists discussed who amongst them liked to take charge when it came to planning things.

It was the general consensus that Ruth was the most organised, and she waved around her yellow highlighter in confirmation.

Ruth then said: “If I was organising an event I’d say ‘don’t ask Coleen because she’ll just get on my nerves.’”

Coleen looked completely shocked by the comment, and the audience were also in disbelief.

Ruth added: “I don’t hold it against her because on the day you’d turn up and be fun and all that.”

Continuing the conversation, Ruth hinted the most organised on the panel as she said: “It would be me obviously, Janet obviously and Kelly.”

Ruth left her Loose Women co-star Coleen out of the line up.

 

The panel discussed a range of topics again on today’s episode, including interviewing Ricky Wilson and discussing recent revelations in the Nicola Bulley case.

Earlier this month, Denise Welch sparked fury over comments she made about the Nicola Bulley investigation.

The dog walker, 45, disappeared after dropping her children off at school in St Michael’s on Wyre, Lancashire, on Friday January 27.

TV presenter Welch weighed in on the internet sleuths trying to crack the case at home at the time.

She said: “This is the problem, we’ve created globally all of these armchair detectives.

“And I am partly responsible because I’ve made no bones of the fact that in my mind I’m the ‘Crime Minister’.

“You know I’m obsessed with true-life crime. When I was young and you had the news at 6pm and a couple of newspapers, all of these things went on and you didn’t know very much about it.

“But now we see it played out in real life and Lincoln and I are responsible for it because we know now, well we think we know, a lot about forensics.”

She admitted speculating on the case herself this week.

She said: “I was guilty of the other day, screaming at the television: ‘Why are people walking along that area?

“That should still be a crime scene. That should still be evidence.’

“Then I thought hang on a minute, there’s obviously a reason why they haven’t kept that.

“But you think that you know because you watch so many crime shows.”

 

Fuming fans rushed to social media to give their two cents.

One wrote: “There has to be some speculation; how is Nicola going to be found if theories are being ruled out because they make people uncomfortable to consider.”
