The 38-year-old WAG has painful reactive arthritis, which affects the joints and is set off by stress.
Now, a former star of the show has slammed the media personality after we reported that Coleen may be exempt from some challenges.
Kim Woodburn, 82, previously entered the I’m A Celebrity jungle in 2009, where she ended up as the runner-up.
Now, the former campmate has slammed Coleen for agreeing to even take part in the show with her condition.
Never backward in coming forward, Kim implied to The Sun that the star would be ‘boring’ around camp.
“Coleen Rooney will not be able to do many trials because she has a form of arthritis, which sad as it is. We know, we know it’s sad, so I think she’ll be very limited to what she can do,” Kim remarked to us.
“Then, why are they still taking her in there? I don’t want to watch Coleen.
“I don’t dislike the girl at all, but you don’t take somebody in there to sit on that log all the time eating rice.”
In the interview hosted by WhichBingo.co.uk, Kim told The Sun that viewers want to see celebrities take part in the infamous Bushtucker Trials.
She explained that in her opinion, ITV is not getting value for money with the signing due to her conditions.
Kim explained to The Sun: “We want to see her doing the trials. If you’re going to do this as she can’t, she can’t do much of anything, because she has a form of arthritis, it’s sad.
“Don’t take money if you’re going to sit there doing nothing, don’t go. She’s very famous. I want to see her do something.
“That’s what we do it for, the programme are nuts. Do not take her just because she’s a celebrity. No, no, no celebrity, but does something.
She added: “If that’s how they’re going to form the show, it will be like watching paint dry.”
