There was an announcement in the latest episode of I’m A Celebrity on Saturday night that left viewers surprised and some wanting answers.

Hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly opened the show with some big news, revealing there would be no elimination on Saturday night. The show was only scheduled for an hour too, not the hour and a half normally given for the exit shows.

Instead, Ant and Dec confirmed that just a day into eliminations, there would be none on Saturday before hinting they would reconvene on Sunday. They revealed: “There’s nobody leaving tonight so they’ve all got another day in paradise no matter what.”

Viewers were left baffled by this news, with some not happy at all. Many were left demanding answers, wanting to know why there was a vote-off yesterday but not today.

One viewer fumed: “No one is leaving? Do oneee.” Another agreed: “Why is nobody leaving…” as a third commented: “Why is nobody leaving tonight? That’s weird.. why did someone have to leave yesterday then??”

A further question read: “How come no one is going home tonight?” as another said: “Why is no one leaving?” A further comment read: “Oh. I was hoping Dean would be leaving tonight.”

It comes as Loose Women star Jane Moore became the first celebrity to leave the camp in the public vote on Friday night. Jane spoke to Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly following her departure, describing her stint in the jungle as “such a weird and magical experience”.

Whilst talking to Ant and Dec, Jane reflected on the experience. When asked if she was disappointed to be first out, she responded: “No more washing up – yes!” She also stated that: “Hard work doesn’t get rewarded.”

During her stint in the jungle, Jane came under fire after she accused Barry McGuigan and Danny Jones of being “sexist” and “ageist” over a camp chore. Reflecting, she said: “I collected the logs, I built the fire, I emptied the dunny, because my partner was Dean, who was on trials all the time.

“So I did it all on my own, put out the rubbish. I had three jobs. I worked like a dog, and then they gave me the washing up, which is a really tough job to go three times a day all the way to the bottom of the creek, lugging everything. I wasn’t pleased about that, to be honest. I said to Danny when he walked out: ‘Don’t give me cleaning’.”

She added that she “can’t wait to get rid of the washing up,” adding: “I’m never washing up again, ever. Yeah, it’s been hard work down there this year.” Jane backed Melvin Odoom or Coleen Rooney to win as they work hard in camp.

She said: “I think Melvin is an absolute slogger. He’s very quiet. He doesn’t push himself forward. Coleen is another one. So they keep everything going. They’re not flamboyant but they’re solid.”
